cubanpete, those spikes on the front of your speeder are AWESOME.  For the longest time I've wanted to do a speeder with blades or something coming off the sides of the front... I NEVER thought to put them sticking strait forward.  You need to customize a scrap rebel or sep. fig with a hole through it's chest that you can slide onto those things!  The working pistol holster is a great touch too! I made sure to put one on mine as well.

on a side note... I havn't had a vanilla coke in FOREVER.... hm.......

Spud, I have a new found respect for your bike and rider especially after reading all of the stuff that you did to em. I didnt even recognize that cut down pauldron until you pointed it out. That speeder is a great bit of innovation and I would have never seen that r4 head for what it was until you pointed it out. I really like how you integrated that car motor. Love that rider, bud. Nice job, indeed.

Cuban pete, I love those blades and the color combo looks great on your speeder. That Holster is a must and somehow reminds me of something that you would see in The Road Warrior movies.  Welcome to the customs gang, buddy.

aww cubanpete...  fire burns... :(  But... I'll take that as a compliment. lol

That pic of the clone on the spikes is too perfect!  Absolutely perfect!  "ouchies"...  ;D

Btw I love that evo trooper backpack... hated to see my evo-trooper turned lava trooper go.

oh I forgot to ask, does the hoth speeder patrol bikes have the exploding feature?  I remember someone saying they were retooled so that they didn't do that.  It's a shame they are still using the old mold and not the updated one with the rubbery handlebars with more detail.

I don't know, and I hate the handlebars, I wish they would update that

I had 2 evo troopers, so I don't mind much.

Spud, holy crap! That swoop is awesome! I love how it's supposed to be an S-swoop stripped down to "almost nothing but a motor, a seat, and steering vanes." Isn't that about all those swoops are supposed to have anyways?  :D   Seriously though, I love it! S-swoops are my favorite speeder bike vehicle, and you have done them much justice, good sir. Two thumbs up!

Just great custom additions for this contest. I love how spudafett modified that droid and integrated it into his bike. The rider is sweet too. Lots of work there.

Pete, that black and red speeder just looks sweet. I love that color combination. The blades on the front with blood? Priceless.

Its gonna be a hard vote!

hey, pete.  Figured out which speeder it was that has the rubber handlebars that are more accurate.  It came in a "delux clone with speeder bike" package.  Here is a reference pic from rebelscum:

they don't explode and alot of the greeblie details have been redone with soft rubber molds.  The handlebars, the hoses underneath and the motor's "air intake" is all redone with the soft rubber.  It looks a whole lot better than those old potf ones.  But i'm sure they are also going to be hard to find now, e-bay would be the place to look.

yeah, that one looks way better.

also the one I have doesn't explode. all it is, is a repaint of the vintage speederbikes. minus the vintage.

lol I just noticed we both have the same red-black color scheme for out speederbikes.

Hey, I have that version of speeder bike also. I was wanting to mold the clone's removable armor pieces but never got around to it.

clint you should cast the new handlebars that are on that thing too.  They can be modded to go on the old potf bikes.  Might be a good seller on e-bay, I know I'd get them if I still had uncustomized potf bikes.... heck I'd probably still buy a couple for extra handlebars for use on future from scratch speeders.
