Well I have had my first damage report for them. I got this in last week and just haven't posted yet. Its the new Hoth Luke:

I keep forgetting to post that I contacted customer service over their chat feature and attached an image of the damage.
They just sent me a new one and I got to keep the old one!
The new one showed up in decent shape. I was worried as the box showed up crushed on one side again.

Half of the last stuff I got in from Pulse came damaged. Arghhh!
And why pay for the premium membership if the stuff comes damaged? And the shipping boxes came ok. Guess I will see how customer service handles this one. The last time they just sent me a one.

So Pulse lately has started sending one figure at a time in a large box.
I recently got in Fennec Shand and the box was pristine, but she showed up with a bad card. I called customzer service and they are shipping a new one after I sent them pictures of the damaged.
Be advized they will want images of both the shipping box and your figure damage if you are dealing with customer service.
They are sending me a new Fennec and I get to keep the old one!

Thank you for making us aware, Tamer! That's the exact reason why I always take pictures of every parcel I receive before I open it.
My experience with Hasbro's customer service is excellent as well. As you probably remember they sent me a new (but loose) TBS Commander Gree figure without accessories after my new one came without the antenna.
If you're lucky they also send you accessories even though they were for incomplete figures which I got used on ebay. One can ask and they can still say no, right? It was worth trying and Hasbro's service is super nice here in Germany, too!
I placed two orders on that 40% off deal. Both are going to arrive today even though one was scheduled for tomorrow. I'll let you know if they combined them.
But I expect both orders to arrive as I ordered them and in two boxes.

I actually didn't expect Princess Leia (Yavin 4) to be the 50th Anniversary Version. I expected her to come in standard Phase 4 packaging (which I think looks awesome). For 19.20€ I'm beyond happy to have added her to my collection. The Pulse Con exclusive Emperor Palps on Throne was a great deal for 24€ instead of 40€...

My total saving of 105€ on this order sounds great! If I had known that the TVC Bad Batch 4-Pack was available on Hasbro Pulse for 54€, I would've cancelled my pre-orders on Amazon Germany, France and Spain for about 63€ each. This white shipper is in one excellent shape. I hope its content is as well...
Wrecker looks very nice as well and that Cantina Showdown pack is massive. I wish we saw this kind of multipacks in 3.75" again.

That is great your order came in such good shape. Glad you saved some money too. My problem now is I have so many pre-orders with so many different places I am forgetting what I have on order so its hard to figure out what I need. Man, I need to keep a spreadsheet or something.

I was happily surprised and couldn't quite believe my eyes when I saw that TVC Shae Vizla was back in stock @ HasbroPulse here in Germany. Some figures sold out within hours after they went up for pre-order.
It's great to see that Hasbro puts popular figures back up again, which gives me hope to eventually be able to get the upcoming Gaming Greats Stormtroopers.
Limit on Shae Vizla was 3 per customer, wanted to buy 2, but was limited to one. Minutes later it was sold out, again. Lucky strike for randomly checking the site tonight...

After checking my latest boxes from Pulse I got in one of these (need to take pics) and it was momc.
My six inch George in Stormy disguise showed up all bent up.
Oh, my call in to Pulse customer service didn't quite go as nice this time. They are sending out replacements, but man I felt like I was put through the ringer.
They wanted me to call the post office to complain about how my packages were shipped. When I asked them if they didn't want to do that as they were on the ones who were not getting what they paid for (good shipping of their products) he said he didn't understand my question. I kid you not, thats what he said. I just got off the phone at that point as I was unpacking from a weeks long vacation and didn't have it in me to explain anymore.
I will let everyon know what shows up.

The U.S. Dollar is currently stronger than the Euro. So it's less attractive for Hasbro to sell stuff in the Euro zone at the moment. I get that. But look at these prices!

The Save I is part of The Vintage Collection for the third time. It's even the 4th time this tooling is used for a complete run. So all they make is money out of it by now. No need to invest additional money. So how can it be that this ship has a MRSP of equally insane $199.99 in the U.S. and 1.5x that amount here in Europe...300€?! You cannot be serious Hasbro! This makes Boba Fett's Throne room look like a steal of a deal at 250€...

A basic TVC figure is at 20€ here basically since the return of The Vintage Collection in 2018.
But a Dark Trooper is almost double the price! Back in 2012 I would've called myself stupid if I had actually paid 20€ for a single figure...but here we are today! The Rebel Hoth Soldier Set for 15€ a piece is actually okay for me.

A regular Black Series figure costs over 30€ here now. And how in the world do they justify that concept art Dark Trooper cost DOUBLE that price?! More than 60 bucks for a Dark Trooper that looks like as if it was painted with crayons by a toddler!?

And almost 60€ for a figure that you buy once to get all the instruments is just rude when Hasbro know that you also are willing to buy the basic figure five times in order to complete the band. They just exploit this cash cow to a maximum where it's not even funny anymore.

And now you can lump them in with the same type of bad shipping you get from Wal-Mart and Amazon. It was interesting to read their policy stance on TVC and Retro saying that they are going to stick with plastic as folks value the packaging and details there as much as the figure, but when you talk to CSR they only seem to want to see if the figure is damaged now.
I was on there the other day just reading the negative reviews on the figures, which I didn't understand, until I read that it was their horrible shipping practices. It sounds like some folks are really getting damaged goods. I mean for those types of prices you ought to be able to ship it in sturdy well packed boxes.

The Slave I dropped by 50€ and the Credit Collection Iron Man Dark Trooper was reduced by 16€ (25%). Still too expensive in my opinion, but a very positive action by Hasbro! The backlash by German customers must've been there and loud.

I can so relate to your frustration, Shawn, as I've read about your experiences with e- and retailers over the past decade.
This time I had a similar experience with Pulse, but it might be the fault of the delivery service.
The box arrived dented on only one corner. So did the card of my third VC101 Shae Vizla. Good for me that this one received the best paint apps of all three. It also came packed with the right forearm rotated to the right. Does this count as variation already? (see last image below)

The box is big enough for a TVC card and came well packed. It only took one single day for delivery, but Hasbro's headquarters are also only 80 minutes drive from my place.

I am still trying to get over my last phone call where they wanted me to call the post office to determine where the boxes were being damaged. I mean WTH?
As I post this I have two boxes waiting to be opened. The boxes are in good shape, but I have to mentally prepare myself for this so I don't stay ticked off all day if something is damaged. I am almost getting myself trained to just accept TVC Card Damage now.. Thats a bunch of bantha poodu.
I am half tempted to just stop pre-ordering everything, but its about the only way to get anything. I mean my stores have landos and one crushed fennec.

I agree, that's totally not your responsibility. They should have a business connection to their delivery partners. It's a joke that they want you as a private person to spend hours on the line there 'til they answer your call. That's life time you'll never get back.
Yesterday, I got an update from Hasbro Pulse that Wave 41 of The Vintage Collection is going to arrive earlier than expected here in Germany.
The new estimated shipping date is August 22, 2022. So if they arrive a day later like last time, they will be on time for my birthday.

Well, that is good news. Great to see them getting stuff in earlier. I have so much on pre-order I don't even know what I have ordered. I might have a problem.
I was happy to see the last couple of boxes of figures I got in from Pulse were packed well and the figures selected were momc too. That new Vader and the Mando Commando are just stellar examples of what action figures can be. It kind of rekindled a drive to still collect. I have to tell you when they were sending all those buggered up packages and figures I was getting pretty frustrated. And then service calls where they want me to find out where the problem is. Just nuts.

Hasbro Pulse Germany ship with excellent packaging, some cards arrive with minor damage, but one of my latest figures with errors passed QC!
Over the past couple weeks I received two of my recent order with in-stock items and one with pre-ordered figures. I'm super glad that some Gaming Greats figures were restocked and even the Republic Trooper is available, again, with a maximum of 3 per customer. Well thats cool. They are gonna let you keep the error correct? No way I would send that back! Still, you would have though they would have caught that.
I did get a new Stormtrooper Commander in after the last one was sent crushed. As long as they keep replacing them I guess I can kinda order with confidence, but understand that getting true quality shipping comes who now?

Hasbro replied to my claim the next day and offered me two options: a full refund because it's currently out of stock or a replacement for the Heavy Assault Stormtrooper. It's going to be back in stock in about two weeks. So I wait patiently :)
I lost a week because my first message wasn't sent successfully with Windows Mail. I never trust those windows that open when you click on the contact address. I'll keep you updated.
Overall they were thankful for my positive feedback.

Thanks, yes I'm really happy with this version. It's always great to see some love for videogames, especially for Battlefront.
Hasbro Pulse expanded here in Europe recently. They sent me an email with new terms & conditions about 4 weeks ago and are now available in Austria, France, Spain and Italy. That's absolutely awesome!
However when I enter their site, they suggest that The Black Series is one of the 3 top selling brands. If they don't produce significantly more units for TBS than they do for TVC, their own shop proves them wrong: TVC has 67 items listed as of this post, of which 29 are sold out. The Black Series has 102 items and only 10 of them are sold out.
Balance the scales I say!

Yeah, I think they got a bit testy at PulseCon when someone asked the SW Team about that. They said we as fans are always changing our minds about what we want as far as products in each line. It would be interesting to do this count from time to time as far as Hasbro Pulse and what is up for retail or sold out, etc.

Maybe it's even a good sign. Could be possible that business here in Europa isn't doing as well as Hasbro had calculated. That 40-50% discount might be an attempt to get rid of overstock.
Today they have 40% off selected Power Rangers stuff.
My second theory is that the U.S. market is too big for such discounts so that they couldn't provide enough stock for all expected orders. By the way neither of the 3 LFL50th Black Series Figures did sell out yesterday here in Germany.

Yeah i wish those were US prices on those shoretroopers. Evidently they lifted the 2x maximum, so i got another shoretrooper set. I think i have a problem. Every time I say I have enough shoretroopers, I convince myself I need more. I probably would have bought 2 more sets had I waited. I was counting my shoretroopers, and thought I could use 4 more counting the 4 i just ordered. I just don't need any more captains, that im sure of.

Yeah, I feel you. For Day 11 they had 5 (Europe) and 11 (UK) Black Series 6" figures on discount. Darth Revan (Archive) was down to 17,99€, Tarkin and Sidious (Archive) were 20,99€ each.
The UK even had the 501st Legion Clone Trooper (Archive) for 17.99 GBP, which sold out rather quickly.
Unfortunately I didn't take screenschots this time. Got home from my 3rd night shift when I checked Pulse.

I will be honest, when I want to pre-order the Tusken Warrior the other day and saw how much it was I said no way. I am gonna wait for a sale or something. I mean 18 bucks for a 3.75" figure is nuts. I guess I have finally reached my saturation point.

Yes, I feel the same. 20 bucks for a TVC figure is a bitter pill to swallow. Yet, figures sell out at HasbroPulse. The female Tusken from BOBF has already sold out here at Pulse Europe.
BUT there's always a chance to get pre-sold out items when they arrive at the warehouse. They usually get more than they put out for pre-order. Like this time I got lucky with the Imperial Artillery/Mortar Stormtrooper and ARC Commander Havoc. I didn't have much hope to get them, but by accident I checked out Pulse Europe yesterday. ARC Trooper Colt on the other hand is not shown among the results, but can still be found on their product page.
They were in stock. Limited to 1 and 2 per customer, so I pulled the trigger for 19.99€ each!
Hasbro ships plastic free, but packs in a hustle.

Oh, absolutely! The anniversary of TESB was pretty much left out for TVC. The good thing to me about Hasbro Pulse is that I can support Hasbro directly now and their loyal customers can show their support specifically by purchasing the figures they want most. If you pre-order your bank account gets charged when the items are ready to ship. And here comes the big HOWEVER! The Endor bunker was supposed to ship later in April. Instead, it shipped at the end of March already and I these 150€ were just taken before I woke up. I don't like to wake up to such bad surprises. Got lots of other bills to pay for this month...it was a bad April's fool by Hasbro Pulse.

Hasbro charges a premium for their latest products. They cannot tell me that a carded figure is 6€ more than the ones in a cardboard box. Only 5€ difference between TVC Deluxe and TBS Deluxe figures? TBS Deluxe Luke Skywalker with Grogu is 54.99€ here in Europe.
Mando's TVC N-1 Starfighter is a ridiculous 170€! And it sold out within an hour even with the limit of 1 per customer! And it's not even exclusive. Amazon sold out a few hours afterwards.
I'm actually missing words. Don't know if I should support this rude pricing. Hopefully it shows Hasbro
that the demand for vehicles is STILL STRONG!

Half figure, full price - PRE-SOLD OUT! Fans were starving for a new, accurate R2-D2. Over 80€ for Jabba with accessories with hardly any articulation doesn't feel right, when the brand team always stresses that assembly is the highest cost factor in the process after tooling.

Couldn't find a topic dedicated to the RETRO Collection, but wanted to let you know that Hasbro Pulse is sending out the long awaited second wave of ANH figures now! They were supposed to ship in June, but they arrived yesterday here in Germany charging bank accounts way earlier than expected. Gotta love pre-orders, right?

I'm optimistic that they make the AT-ST and AT-AT Drivers for the RETRO line. Maybe even some mini rigs. Who knows, the line seems to perform fairly well.
There's also some progress at Hasbro Pulse. They sent me an email this morning that my next two orders are going to ship on Monday, which means they'll charge my bank account on the same day.
It's ARC Commander Blitz and I cannot wait for the next Blitz on my account. I'm very thankful that they announce their strikes now.

Looks like I got lucky and received the original shipper for the recent SDCC'23 exclusive Wookiee.
It features some interesting details. And it looks like the second E-number was changed so that this box (like probably hundreds of others) were modified with an extra label. Now that's some extra work for those charges...sheesh.
Well, I can actually not believe that I was dumb enough to bite this lemon. Hasbro charge a whopping 47,99€ for this exclusive figure here in Europe. Is it deluxe? Yes! But are almost 250% more than the already insane MRSP justified? Totally not! So why did I still buy it?! I dunno.
I guess I just wanted to support a character that is one of the very few under Dudsney that's actually brilliantly written and executed! I'm a big fan of Black Krrsantan!
But I'm done with Hasbro's pricing. Almost 50 bucks for a 1/18 scale figure is beyond rude. 0//

I finally pre-ordered the AT-ST Raider, Jedi Revan & HK-47 2-Pack and the Imperial Officer 4-Pack on Pulse, yesterday. The Raider is not yet available here in Europe or elsewhere outside the U.S. or Canada as of this post. Neither are the re-releases of the Imperial Stormtrooper helmets in white and black. I really need the black one for my costume.
Jedi Revan and his droid were sold out within a couple days here in Europe. Looks like Hasbro have much higher quantities in store for North America, which makes total sense.
And another nice bonus is that I pay sales tax in Michigan and not 19% here in Germany on those items.

This set doesn't move as fast even at this price (half off). I got it on discount on Pulse UK at the beginning of the year. It was 62€. 53€ is actually a price that doesn't feel like a complete rip-off.

Oh I’m absolutely on your side, Tamer! The € prices are even more ridiculous than the $ tags. But Hasbro match them to their hyperinflated prices here in Europe. Still, HasbroPulse is sold out for TVC here.
I’m sure Europe gets way less stock than the U.S., which should be adjusted with all countries added recently.
I’m also very picky by now and wait until I get stuff loose to at least safe a few bucks.

Very nice! Can't wait to take my AT-ST Raider home this summer after I had missed it back in 2020.
I also hope that the Cantina Band comes back in stock here in Europe. It suddenly dropped from 110€ to 50€ and the limit was 20 per customer. So it sold out in no time and I missed it.
I've watched other OUTLET items on Pulse USA going out of and back in stock many times.
But it's different here in Europe, which is an understatement by saying it's frustrating.
I still don't know why I paid 48€/$50 for the SDCC exclusive TVC Krrsantan here in Europe, while it's on clearance for $19.99 in the U.S. now - and still doesn't sell out!
I'll share their response to my rant as soon as I receive it.

Yeah, some of these exclusives just perplex me. They first sell em for lots of dollars only for them to go on clearance a few months later. Frankly, it makes one just want to wait to see if something hits clearance for me now anyway.
Of course saying that, I sure paid full price for my at-st raider and am not regretting it after the horrible experience I had with the best buy one.

I got the old ones from 2006 loose. I think they were a commemorative tin mulitpack back in the TSC line. They're good for display purposes especially if I build a diorama of the Cantina some day.

Yesterday, I received a response to my rant from Hasbro Germany. They said they always appreciate feedback - whether it's positive or negative, but constructive.
They can understand that less stock for the European market can lead to frustration.
They don't have any more of the Cantina Band and the Wookiee.
But they said they took the occasion to forward this feedback by fans to a higher instance.
This doesn't mean it changes anything to the better they said.
Wow, what a support. I want to give them my money, but they don't have enough products to meet demand. Thanks for nothing, Hasbro.

No support to solve my problem after all. Pretty disappointing with the fact that they sell their products directly including the retailer margin - big plus in their book, not even meeting demand. I guess they just want to stay fair towards the other retailers they sell their stuff to and limit their own sales.

Somewhere along the lines of history you would think they could look at what sold well and what didn't and come to their own conclusions. Sometimes I think Hasbro doesn't want stuff to sell well and purposely dilutes the line.
