A couple of older Darth Vader sabers.  I took one and shortened it.  The swords are Snake Eye's.  I don't remember which series.  I'll try to get more pics done this weekend.

This was a little different.  It's not actually one that I'm going to keep.  I did it temporarily for something else.  I may come back to something like it but in different colors.  Thought you all would enjoy, though.

Very nice colors Im a sucker for  good color mixing. Only one thing are the two swords in the back meant to be lightsabers also or just regular swords?

Regular swords.  their off of some Cobra Red Fang Ninja.  I was tempted to paint the brown leather belts and straps black to go with the body suit.  I think the brown leather look gives it a more realistic look.

I think you made the right call.  Black is hard to photograph well and if you paint too many of your details black, you get a blob (usually).  By painting them brown, you let the black bodysuit be the base and let the details visually "float to the surface" as it were.  More visually interesting *and* easier to see/photograph.
