Hi All

CaptainLux - Cheers buddy just got my other pieces for Kirk and will have him done in a few days.

Also thought that I would show a sculpt I did for a one/one trade with a mate over seas,  he made Grim Reaper outfit but didn't want the usual skull and so he asked me to come up with something different.

I thought that a decayed head with dried skin and parts of the skull showing would be a great idea and more scary then the usual skull head.

The head is a 1/6 plastic skull with a neck section cut of a Dragon head and then super glued the two together. I then used GW's greeenstuff (two part putty) and covered the skull and then got a sculpting tool and just satrted digging and scrappping into the putty and what you see is the end result.

I then used GW paints to paint and wash the flesh to the desired look.

Hi All

After completing Spock I put Kirk on hold till I got some more boots but once I got them I got stuck into building him asap. I'm in the process of collecting materials to make a TOS Captain Chair but till then the chair in the pics will do.

RECIPE

Kirk - The body is a Soldier Story, the hands are from TTL v3 and Sideshow Indy, the head I got from Lonnie The frontline custom head he doesn't have the kirk head on his website I got mine from ebay, but if you email I think he should be able to let you know where to get them.

The pants are from the 12" TOS Playmates figures I just cut them off the outfit, the top is from D-Art Studios http://www.d-artstudios.com/index.htm. I couldn't find any swirly embroidery so I cut up some old 1/6 straps I had in my bits box and painted them gold.

The command emblem on his chest was drawn by hand and then hand painted as my printer decided to give in and then it was glued inplace. The boots and phaser are from the old Spock and Scotty AMT models.

Base - is from another old base I had lying around I'm just using it as a generic base now till I can get Kirks chair built.

Hi All

Another Indy figure to add to my Raiders collection, I really love the head sculpt on this figure it's the best likeness of Ford I've seen.  I have more figures to add to the Raider series and I will post them as soon as there done,  once I was happy with the overall look and feel of the figure and base I used Vallejo, Reaper, GW paints and pastels to paint and weather the entire thing.

RECIPE
1: Indiana Jones - The body is a TTL-V3 as are the hands,  the head and Fedora is a shruken down PF Indy head and is an awesome likeness of Ford.  All the clothing and revolver are from Sideshow's Indy figure,  The whip has the Sideshow Indy bendable whip handle but the whip itself it leather coil which I got from the local craft shop.

The gloves are from a Soldier Story WW2 parachute figure and the torch has been made from decrotive sticks that I got dheap from a home ware shop.

2: Base - The base is a Indiana Jones stand and has plaster of Paris and sculpty clay added for the ground work, the soil is mulched up dirt/bark from the garden and the plants are from the local pet shop.

You can see more pics here http://www.hemblecreations.com/indy%20page%202.htm
