I would like to use this thread to share some interesting auctions from Germany! Over the past years availability & demand have changed quite a bit! Bidders in the U.S. pay more for Star Wars figures on eBay than people do here.

Yesterday, I found an entire collection p for sale on eBay Germany!

Starting bit is 20k - 6 days to go. Take a look for yourself if you want to see a big collection with great stuff of the last 20 years...I got fun myself ticking all the items I own myself...the list of the description is very detailed!

Big Collection

Lots of army builders like this one here have become quite rare:

The seller I got the repainted Republic Gunship from, sells some interesting customs once in a while:

The inflation of THE BLACK SERIES figures...

I've been keeping my eyes on Hasbro's The Black Series 6" figures since their release in 2013.
Over the years these "flag ship" figures of Hasbro's new premium line have constantly become cheaper at retail and most of them lost value while some go for crazy prices on the secondary market by now. Talking about the time before the Archive Line.
The fact that some 6 inch figures are sold cheaper than 3 3/4" figures - especially TVC figures! (e.g. on Amazon) makes me mad! Hasbro put most of their effort and dedication to Star Wars into their new 6 inch line - their main argument was: more quality for collectors and higher profits for them! Well, quality wasn't that good at the beginning, it has improved significantly recently though, BUT where's the profit for Hasbro? I know the profit is made once Hasbro sells their products to retailers. But this is defintely NOT a good sign, if retailers just won't get rid of their stock for the MRSP.
But I'll save this question for a different topic.

There's a seller of homegoods and mixed stuff on ebay Germany who also got a good variety of The Black Series Phase II figures in 3 3/4" figures. He probably got them as remaining stock and bought them on margin.

What's shocking to me here is that people keep bidding less and less for these figures, although they are new & on card and most importantly: high quality super-articulated figures!!

This seller has been shelling out 2x8 figures every Sunday for some months now: One complete case and one case seperately.

This Case of 8 (9 with Jawa 2-Pack) figures has been sold for 41,06€ last Sunday. And I was already upset to have missed it.

But if that wasn't cheap enough, look what the highest bid of yesterday was:

Yes, I got this case for 34,45€ / ~$37.20 shipped - that makes $4.65 per card or $4.13 per figure...this is madness and such a development leaves me in concern about the future of super-articulated Star Wars action figures...

Here's the history of the three previous auctions in February and March 2019:

So how low can they go?!?!?
