Cad Bane in clone armor
« on: March 06, 2010, 09:08:32 PM »
Seen this pic on rebelscum, taken from the back of a new Snow Ops Rex card, that shows a future release of a Cad Bane figure wearing clone armor and what looks like, the hard to find CW Clone Backpack. He also includes a Jedi Holocron.
Jay, does that look like the Commander Stone body sculpt to you?

I will buy him when I see him. But I'm waiting more for him on his bike.
Yes, as I said, I am an assassin droid. It is my primary function to burn holes through meatbags that you wish removed from the galaxy…

But what happened to the thing attached to the back of his head and the hoses coming out of his cheeks?

Look closely to the episode that has him in denal's armor and you'll notice that it's gone there as well.  My assumption was that they new when making the toy that the clone helmet wouldn't fit over the breathing tubes so they removed it.  I wish they would have the forethought to make it removable and able to be put into the backpack...

The helmet will fit over the head fine with the tubes that are on the stock figure, but the tubes and connected breather hang out the back (in a neat way.)
It would sit right at the opening of the backpack, If I had an extra to put on a denal fig.
And I havent made the head fit a Denal fig yet either... just tried the helmet on his head.

I will not be buying this.
Cad Bane is one of the most over blown characters in any show, book, etc, I have seen in a long time.

You're trippin'. I think he is the most unique, underused, awesome charecter to come to Star Wars in a long time.At 1st I was skeptical because of his cowboy look, but he is the coolest villain since Grievous made his 1st appearance. Every body has their own opinion though. But to say overblown? They should have used him more instead of messing with continuity.

Well I may get one but I would probably convert it to Denal again but who knows, I may just keep it Cad Bane?

Nope not tripping.
They made him out too be the most bad assed bounty hunter ever, even Over Boba, Jango...etc.

The very last episode with him in it, he looked like a total jackass.

But hey, everyone is allowed to their opinion.
Mine is that Cad Bane is pretty much a fraud. He is nothing like his name suggests http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cad
He should have been called "fraud" Bane.
As in fraudulently taking the place of a real bounty hunter.

Like 110clones said, I hope it comes with a helmet.  That figure looks cool, though.
