Wow, take a look at this!

I haven't heard of MAFEX till today and it is evidently and off shoot of Medicom and they have produced a Spider-Man and Bat-Man figures that look pretty exceptional to me. It seems to me they are willing to sacrifice a bit in the looks department to achieve some crazy articulation and I am hearing these would be around $40 a figure.
Talk about declaring war on Hasbro's Six Inch Line eh?
Would you collect em? Right now I am sure very curious myself!
-
I am very curious too. Their other figures are so superior to Hasbro product. I would love to see Vader as their first figure followed by Stormtroopers. I have the feeling Hasbro's Vader will fall short in some aspect. They claim their 6 inch line has superior sculpts to anything they have done in 3 3/4 inch but I don't agree. They seem to foul up at least 1 aspect of every figure other than Han.
-
to be honest to me the six inch series just looks like the 3.75" series scaled up and i am not particularly impressed at all with the sculpts ,Hasbro talk a good game....

It sure doesn't look like we have to sacrifice any aesthetics with this one. It looks amazing and the range of movement is reportedly stand on your head awesome!

Medicom has released new images and prices on their site (thank the make for google translate!)

It seems incredibly detailed and I can't wait to see what you get for $45!

MAFEX Vader is at Big Bad Toy Store! (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MED10893&mode=retail&utm_source=site&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=ImperialShipyards)
They have it listed at $54 dollars. I am in! I just want to compare it to Hasbro's Vader. I bet the differences will be striking!
-
Curious about the Stormtrooper. I'm looking for the 6" Hasbro Black Collection Stormtrooper for some time, but I can find only overpriced ones. Adding shipping to that would not worth it. This could be the choice instead.
-
I know I ordered one. I can't wait to see what other ones they bring out.
-
I think I might get the Stormie if ever released, not sure of others.

Serg, do you have an article link where it talks about the SW ones they might release?
-
Some guys on SSF said Medicom is going to release more figures from this line, including Stormie and Fett. But I guess they are the obvious choices anyway, al most all companies/toy producers release Vader, Fett and Stormtrooper first...
-
Well I for one hope they are correct!
-
I just found out on SSF about Bandai SH Figuarts:

Have to find out more about these....
-
Bandai is making some SW Figures? Wow, these looks great!
Serg, you have some links? I would love to go research some of this.
-
Curious to know more about them. Since I'm with Stormtroopers, one from Mafex, one from Bandai/Figuarts and (hopefully some day) a 6" from Hasbro would do. :)

I think this is the original link:

The Mafex stormtrooper looks alot better than the Hasbro one in my opinion.

Mine too. I am thinking Medicom is gonna keep Hasbro honest when it comes to the six inch line. Fingers crossed anyway. I keep hoping a company like this would pick up the three and three quarter license too. I mean if there are now three companies making six inch figures why can we have three companies making three and three quarter inch figures?
-
Very nice!

I have been waiting to hear your opinion. I like it too. I am thinking the MAFEX line is something you can get? Probably easier than me I am thinking.
-
I'm sure these will be available to whoever wants them. I'm most likely in for a Stormie :)
