Hello Shipyarders! I wanted to let everyone know that I will be going to VA Comic Con this year. I decided to get a booth and try selling some dioramas, Custom figures and some of my collection I am ready to part with. Would love to see anyone who has time to come out! It is Feb. 7th, 2015 in Richmond Virginia at the Richmond Speedway. Here is a link to their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/VA-COMICON/169876788930

That is awesome! Can't wait to meet up!
-
Spry I am gonna try to promote this. I put a little story album together on the front page. I hope you like it.
-
I can't wait! Im glad you mentioned it I thought it had passed me by. It will be nice to put a face behind the great works.
-
That is awesome of you Shawn! The video isn't working for me, is it just me?
JDeck, it looks like you have to buy tickets in advance on line. I also have a few face book friends coming out!

I went through it a few times on the front page and it seems to work for me. It is basically an image story, scroll through, where you can then enlarge an image if you click on it. You should see an arrow come up on the right side that will let you scroll through. I recommend enlarging this so it fits the full screen (box on the lower left). Try this link folks:

I found out a little bit more about this:

There is a regular ticket and an "elite" ticket that gets you in an hour earlier and there are some convention exclusives that look rather cool:

Folks, VA Comic Con was a blast. I took the weekend and went down and snuck up on ole Spry. His set up was fantastic and I forgot my camera so I had to use my IPAD. It was great meeting him and his family and to just see the sheer awesomeness of his custom artwork. I really, really liked his six inch dioramas. I put up a Facebook Gallery for those who are interested:
