The pics didn't show up in your thread, but I pasted in the URL and...that...is...one hell of an awesome stormie!  I dig the camo green and the artillery shell strap on his arm.  Very nice work!

That is awesome Helix.  Love the details in the painting, particularly on the forearms and lower legs.  Nice green for it too. Great job.

just the colored portion cut from the original pauldron and glued to the shoulder with a dab of silver for snap fasteners

helix your work continues to astound me.  The paint apps are truly beautiful on this figure.  The scout trooper belt works extremely well on the storm trooper, I realy like it!  The way you create your shoulder pauldron/pads always come out stunning, I am definitely going to try that technique one day.

And I've said it time and time again, but I'll say it again... those fine detail lines you put into every figure really make the paint-apps and the sculpts of the figures pop!
