The ZeHethbra
« on: December 28, 2009, 12:45:54 PM »
INFO: The ZeHethbra were bipedal, mephitoid sapients indigenous to ZeHeth in the Mid Rim.

RACE: ZeHethbra
HEIGHT: 1.9 to 2.3 Meters Tall
SKIN (FUR): Black, Speckled Brown
DISTINCTION: Claws, blinding spray
LANGUAGE: ZeHethbra

HOMEWORLD:
ZeHeth was a planet located within the ZeHeth system of the Mid Rim that was covered in urban sprawls and great trees with dens beneath their roots.

BIOLOGY AND APPEARANCE:
ZeHethbra spoke the ZeHethbra language. They were furry and muscular bipeds with incredibly sharp fangs. Their fur ranged in color from black to speckled brown. Their pawlike hands had claws that complemented their beastlike countenence.

The species were moody and ill tempered. When aggrevated a ZeHethbra would growl and spit at the source of its mood, often hurling colorful and unique profanities. Despite being so easily angered, ZeHethbra were fiercely protective of their families and communities.

ZeHethbra were also capable of releasing a stinging biochemical spray in a cloud roughly three meters in radius that could blind or stun anything in range.

CULTURE AND HISTORY:
Some time after 1,000 BBY the ZeHethbra engaged in a number of inconclusive wars with the Dugs of Malastare.

The ZeHethbra of ZeHeth are a well-known species that has traveled throughout the galaxy and settled on a number of worlds. The ZeHethbra species has no less than 80 distinct cultural, racial and ethnic groups that developed due to historical and geographic variances. While many non-ZeHethbra have trouble distinguishing between the various groups (to the casual observer, the ZeHethbra seem to have only five or six major groups), ZeHethbra themselves have no problem distinguishing between groups due to subtle markings, body language and mannerisms, slight changes in accent, and pheromones.
