I am on the Hunt, DRS, and I am hungry............for star wars, that is. I will be hitting state line target, tomorrow. The wife said that her store had a blue arc trooper commander, today, but I already got one, this weekend.

i havent gotten the new one, but it looks alot like the Order 66 version repack. i have about 6 of this one loose and as many of the comic pack version.
I must have about 30 plus ARC troopers including shadow, yellow , commanders and blue versions. and that doesnt count the unopened ones.
I even had 6 loose original Cartoon network version CloneWars ARC troopers in grey, blue and red that i let my son have and i kept the boxed ones.
I really didnt like the articulation on that line, but the accessories are still great.
I probably have about 50 different clone commanders loose in all varieties. that also includes the skinny CW line, mostly Rex figs of whichi have about 5 open and 5 boxed for future use and also 4 of the mail in variety.
I do tend to overdo it with what i like, and you can get great deals on ebay that make it easier than buying them upon release. Loose makes for a good bargain.
now if only i could update the storage area of our basement and display some of it better. that is the only place the wife will let me display stuff, besides in the sons room.... which becomes the revolving door play and display area. He is 4 years old and before we started playing with them, i collected only moc figs and maybe the occassional ship. very few figs got opened, normally special occassion figs given to me by friends as gifts.
now the opening is like a major addiction.

Dana my girl is three and she is trying to get me to open her Legacy BMF Falcon. I too am primarily a boxed and carded guy and am starting to open a bit more as she is playing with it more. Ofcourse I do have all the Sith around here who are trying to get  me to open everything!

I am usually the evil one... and there is only so much will power can do for you...
especially when the wife jokes and threatens to let them open more and more stuff...
she just doesn't understand.... but she is accepting and tries to accommodate us.

Or in the words of Locutus of  BORG, " Resistance is futile."
I have a bad feeling that before long a large majority of my stuff may be loose.

That's right, Doc. Why, one could pack 30 to 40 loose clones into the at-te alone and still take up less space than an AT-TE box. Imagine the space that all of those figures cards would take.

Yes...yes, I did.  Trust me...that will be as *nothing*!!!  Once you start opening, you will be unable to resist the lure of "just one more"!!

(good vid, btw - shelves look great!)
