$60 is still ridiculous.  It's better than the $75 they were initially talking about, but still more than any vehicle should be.

Oh you know me and bigger ships. I can't pass up a good SW deal either. Its not that I don't like the prequels too, it is always the space and the money issue.

man... I actually kinda like this'n.  I always thought when I was a kid that the story behind the y-wing being a forgotten fighter from the republic days and having been stripped of all it's armor to be able to go faster and cary more weopons was realy neat.  I used to doodle sketches of star wars ships and vehicles in my spare time and I remember trying to come up with my own "armored" version of the y-wing.  I like the version hasboro finally settled on and I think it has potential... for customizing...  I'm glad that it isn't a retooling of the worn out old y-wing mold with a bunch of armor sculpted onto it though!  I was afraid that they'd be crappy about it and just modify the old mold.

that does give me an idea though... I wonder if from this y-wing you could make a set of removable outer armor coverings for a classic style y-wing......

funny, I was thinking "I wonder if there are vintage starship shows like we have vintage car shows"

That would be beat, old fighters with neon paint jobs, :)

Yep, I saw a post on RS from someone in California who just bought one. Guess it's back to the every day store checking. Anyone else find one yet?
