Very true but I expect that Hasbro intends to use these new pods to push at least one more repaint of their current gunship. Any bets on which store gets the exclusive, this time?
If it's an Exclusive it doesn't matter because I'll never get it, I still haven't been able to get the recent Walmart one! :(   by the way I  HATE Exclusives if anyone was wondering, especially overpriced ones! ;D

Thats the Fett I remember! Put me in the same boat guy. I only have walmarts and exclusives from another store I want usually mean a long road trip if I can find em at that rate!

I'm not sure where jediinsider's sponser got this image from but I believe that the box art for these 4 battle packs is represented here.

Commando droids
Jelli Grub Patrol
Ewoks
Geonosis Assault

that pod looks like it could be fun to mount onto another vehicle, other than the gunship. The new republic tank, possibly.

I found these pics on rebelscum.com today, of the Geonosis Assault Battle Pack in and out of it's packaging.
I gotta say that I am really looking forward to this one. Bring on those gunpods! I have got some gunships to dress up!

I reckon I'll buy two of the gunpod sets just to get a fully-equipped Larty.  However, I bought two sets of custom-built pods off a gent on ebay.  Other than needing a seat inside the pod, I'm satisfied with them on the shelf.

But it is such a great idea that I feel compelled to support Hasbro financially on this.

On a sad note, I located a Scramble pack in a local TRU last week.  Went back to pick it up Monday and it - along with something like 4 Jabba sets - was GONE!!!  I almost cried.  So, in a consolation effort, my son and I will instead be picking up some toy blasters to convert into costume bits for HALO and SW smuggler/bounty-hunter outfits.  The Scramble pack really did look as cool in person as in the pics.  My only wish is that they'd gone the MF Training route and added in some "spare parts" like shipping containers.  Guess that's why we have latex and resin, eh?

LOL. We have all been there before. There are a lot of Halo fans here too. Me included even though I don't have a 360.

Doc, it Sounds like you made the best of things anyway. You have got to show us some pics of those costumes, when you get a chance. I am sorry that scramble BP wasn't waiting for you when you got back as it really is a nice set.
A few containers would have been nice in that pack, somethng to fill the cargo bay of that little transport.
