2009 Fans' Choice Poll: Official Top 30
Posted By Curto on October 13, 2009

The second part of the 2009 Hasbro Fans' Choice Poll is finally here!

The Star Wars collecting community has spoken, and the final results are here at long last. All participating websites sent in their votes to Hasbro to create a master list of 30...in honor of next year's 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, of course! The master list is now revealed in ToyFare magazine #148, hitting stores tomorrow, but subscribers have gotten their copies today.

Here is the official final Top 30 list, in alphabetical order:

1.Admiral Pellaeon

2.Bariss Offee

3.Balista Shan

4.Ben Quadrinaros

5.Bom Vimdin

6.Cane Adiss

7.Clegg Lars

8.Cordé

9.Darth Caedus

10.Darth Plagueis

11.Darth Sidious (Senate Duel)

12.Dash Rendar

13.Dormé

14.Dr. Evazan

15.Grand Moff Tarkin (A NEW HOPE)

16.Guri (SOTE: Evolutions)

17.Jaxxon

18.Jocasta Nu

19.Joruus C'Baoth

20.Kister and Wald (2-Pack)

21.Queen Apailana

22.Queen Jamillia

23.Rebel Fleet Trooper

24.Sgt. Doallyn

25.Sim Aloo

26.Taym Dren-Garen

27.Tey How

28.Toryn Farr

29.Tzizvvt

30.Weequay Skiff Master

 Well what's your thoughts?

Mine,  a Weequay skiff master in the top 30? A rebel fleet trooper as well as a few head scratchers for me. Some are so Obscure I would doubt they would sell to anyone other than a die hard fan of  the 15 second screen time variety.

A couple of my favs made the list, so I hope they get made eventually.  Especially Bastilla Shan and Jocasta Nu!  Jorus C'Boath, Darth Caedus, Darth Plageus, and Dash Rendar are also on top of my list!

I do like many of the choices but Corde' really?    Dorme"    Some on the list are really in need of a redo, Tarkin and Dash are prime examples of the original figs sucking big time and you would think that these could be done easily with altering current items.

I agree.  I can't help but wonder if Hasblo had inserted some of their own choices because they're planning on those figs already, so it looks like they're meeting our demands.  I don't know who is honestly clammoring for a Corde, Dorme, or Queens Apailana or Jamillia.

Pat, I've seen them actually making the lists on other sites.  *shrug*

WHERE ARE THE TONNIKA SISTERS?????

Glad to see Kitster and Wald on there... that should be a shoe-in for the "kid-friendly" image Hasbro wants to portray.  Interesting list.  When do we start the final voting?

I've never even heard of 95% of these bozos.

My thoughts are that whoever thought up the concept for "Bunny-Man" should be kicked in the nuts repeatedly with an iron boot for years to come.

That is an affront to SW verging on utter blasphemy.

no Kister OR Wald please, especially not BOTH of them.  god, they were only slightly less annoying than the damn kid Anakin was.  I love Episode 1 but those two I would never ever buy figures of.

Jocasta Nu?  pass.   Doallyn?  pass (skipped Bane Malar too).   Tzizvvt?  big pass.  Queens  Apailana and Jamillia?  bigger pass.  who cares about them.   Corde and Dorme?  REALLY?

Jaxxon = old-school Marvel comics

Kitster & Wold = kid bodies for fodder

Sarge - sure we got RFT's, but they SUCK compared to the figs we have now.  If we could get SA RFT's that would be awesome.  Army-building forEVer!
