Title: 1/6th Scale Darth Vader - Depressed Edition!
Post by: Buried Egg on June 14, 2014, 01:26:02 PM
Here is a sort of mini-diorama I did just for this shoot with a 1/6 Scale Medicom "Darth Vader" Action Figure:

*I printed out a cardboard/paper facade of a Star Destroyer bridge window frame I built in Photoshop.
*Then I used freeze frames from Return of the Jedi and put them on a monitor behind the cardboard window frame to create appearance of the action outside.
*No Photoshop. Just practical effects for these shots!
*Vader's pose was inspired by the new Mythos Statue.

Wow, you are making our front page look awesome this morning if I do say so myself. I saw this yesterday on Facebook and really liked it!

Thanks for the kind words! I just want to make sure my pics are showing up here in the forums for you. I went back last night and posted some pics directly to these forums (rather than FB links). The images show up when viewed in Internet Explorer but not when viewed on my Smart Phone. Just want to make sure I'm making these available the right way on your Forums. Thanks!

Yepper, I am seeing two photos here. You used the attachment option. You can also paste pictures directly in your forum post using the [img] tag (photo icon button) and get larger size pictures to post. Your url for your picture goes between the img tag.
