Thanks dudes, here are the final steps on this one.

I painted up the snowtrooper backpack and added a handle on either side from a spare 1/35th scale armor sprue just for greebly detail. Then, i drilled a small hole in the backpack top on one side to receive an Antenna that I made out of thin gauge craft wire with some short lengths of electrical wire insulation at the top and bottom for a shank and top nub.

three more shots of the backpack. In the second shot, you can see the warhammer decal "thanks Jay" that I stuck on top of the backpack.

In shot #4, you can see the hole that I drilled in the side of the helmet to receive the rangefinder.

TY, Psyclone, I am pleased with it.

I cast one of those arc trooper rangefinders, painted it up, and sized the hole to its post so that it is poseable in the up or down position.

And there you have it, Folks. He is done. I wanted a big rifle for this guy so I cast up a sandtrooper rifle, painted it black, and drybrushed it with dark grey for some highlights. 
Lets call this guy CT 13409 Sgt "Shady" of the 137th Airborne Covert Ops Battalion.
time to start on another one, WEEEEEEEEEEE!

a masterpiece! I love every aspect: camo, outfit, paintjob, the markings are a stunning detail, I would put him in my glass case.
