Thanks guys, Yeah, I have good feelings about that kama. We will see how it goes.
alright, here are a few more shots of the RC since you twisted my arm..........
I had to break out my little Geonosis rocky dio just to see how he looked on it. I really meant to weather this figure but after all the detail painting, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I will weather the next one, I promise.

Thanks Mike

For those who missed it, I posted more pics of the RC and some progress on the ARC ARF on the previous page as well as shown part 1 of the klenex kama making tutorial.

Guess what guys, I got called to go back to work tomorrow, for at least a couple of days anyways.

I hate to see a guy not go to work, but daggone I have to admit I am hating to think of something interfering with all this great work you have been doing. I said you were on fire in one of your other threads, but after seeing all this I think  you must be a blazing inferno. Thank you for giving us the how to on that Kama which is on the front page by the way.

That RC is just pure genious and that shot of him helmet off looking up into the air reminds me of him looking for a gunship after a heated Sep. battle. Just looks awesome.

Now that shoulder pauldron with the ammo pack on it is also sheer genious and I can't wait to see the different combinations you come up with for other figures. I would think this would look equally good on a regular style figure too. The paint updates look good on him too.

This is a real time tutorial, Rich. It really starts looking good when you trim it up and start painting it. I will end up trimming it up, painting it partially, mounting it, adding piping, painting more, and adding greeblies before it's all done.
I will try to find the time to peel it out of the mold tonight while taking pics the whole way.

Shawn, with all the momentum I have built up here lately, I kinda do regret going back to work. That's ok as I believe it will be short-lived.

Thanks to all of you for your comments.

Epic figure.
Nothing else I could add.

Thanks volker.
Lets continue with the kama tutorial

Now that the glue soaked tissue is dry, It's time to peel it out of the mold. It doesn't stick as much as you would think and while still being flexable, the cape is strong enough that it isnt prone to rip as you are peeling it off.

Pic 2 is the new kama next to the mold that spawned it.

pic 3 shows the inside of the cape sitting next to an arc trooper. the position of the end of the scissors is where I would trim the length were we to match that of the Arc's

pic 4 shows me trimming off one of the overlapping rough edges of the new kama. You can see where the mold stopped and the overlap began. I am trimming along that seam.

Easily the best RC I've seen. And definitely the best custom weapon.

Nice tutorial too.

Thanks, CS!

pic one shows one of the edges after the overlapping klenex was trimmed off.

Pic two shows the backside of the newly trimmed kama next to the mold that spawned it.
Pic three shows the inside
pic four shows the new kama test fitted onto my commander lock figure's waist. Now, of course the length will be trimmed and I will probably cut a v-shaped slit up the back from the bottom of whatever length we decide on. "I will probably make it a bit longer than the arc trooper's kama"

I will slip the top of the kama where it meets the clone's waist under the two belt ammo pouches and under the gas mask cannester at the clone's back. these will probably be the glue points when that time comes.

Those wrinkles on the inside of the cape will look great when this bad boy kama is painted up as will the mold's folds on the kama's outside. I will show you this when I get to it.

Three more test fitting pics with the Lock body, the last one next to the new Arc trooper's BP Rex.
Like I said, I will trim up the length of the kama, next.
