WOW!!!

That RC is amazing.

Your attention to detail is just incredible...

How long did it take you to paint all the details?

That "metal" application on the visor is fantastic!!!

Thanks gwest! I'm still not done detail painting yet so I will have to say, it took me hours...................

I have been working on my new molds this morning and havent gotten any more painting done on the rc yet but I did get the three parts that will make his ole painless gun cast and cleaned up. I had originally planned to have him toting this gun and the dc17 grenade launcher since he has the rounds mounted on his backpack but as I was cleaning the flash off of the mini gun I had an idea. "two guns is going to be alot for this guy to lug around so what if I incorporated some kind of rocket launcher attachment under the barrel of the ole painless gun?" It will be like the all purpose heavy ground assault weapon. I went ahead and cut the extra lugs off of the bottom of the main part of the gun and I am going to dig though the fodder bin to see if I can come up with a suitable rocket launching attachment to mount under the barrel. I have a shot here of my partially modified mini gun next to one from Jay's order so you can see what I cut off.

I also noticed that I need to shoot an update video of this figures production as the last one was shot back in July but first, I want to paint on him some more so I'm off to do just that.

Good... googa... mooga!!!

These are, without a doubt, some of the neatest, cleanest, most beautifully detailed and executed custom figures I have ever seen.

I feel like a novice next to you, dude.

Well thank you all very much. With any luck, the finished product will be here before we know it.

Roberto, I've seen your Boba, sir and if your other customs are to be anywhere near the same caliber, perhaps it is I who should feel the novice. "I take it you saw the other thread?" One thing is certain, we share a love for the little details.

Speaking of which, you all have heard me go on and on about touchups on my detail lines. Well tonight, I spent over an hour bringing the touchup painting task closer to fruition by working from the waist of this figure up to clean up the detail lines and the color transition areas. I am not as shaky as I figured that I would be at this after such a long break from doing it and only see needed repairs from what I touched up tonight in about 5 areas. Now I still need to do the legs and the feet with the old concrete color and then I need to touch up the undercovering brown.

Click on the pics to make em bigger and you should be able to see a difference. Those tedious detail lines are a pain but there is something I like about them. They just seem to give depth to the details that a simple wash wont achieve for me.

One more for tonight unless I get a wild hair. I have been gathering pieces for the mini gun mod and can't wait to get started on that little side project.

Clint, sorry I've only just managed to catch up with this ans WOW! I'd forgotten quite how much of a craftsman you are, this figure is blow-me-away gorgeous!  The bare metal visor, the panel lines and the paint application make this figure a super detailed and highly prized piece of work...you really are the Master.

I'm not really a fan of the non-OT stuff, but I can appreciate a good paint job and well done custom, these are pretty nice

Thank you kind shipyarders! Your comments are most gracious.

Been filling parts orders all day and made a run to TRU so I didn't get any more work done on this today but I did manage to shoot an update youtube video of this guys production.
