Looking great Clint! I think you could make a custom Firefly if you wanted to. Oh and by the way, I hope you make a cast of this head.

Thanks, DS! I may get to work on him some more tonight. I got some paint on the femando but am not ready to show it yet. I have a commission for 5 of the sgt airborne heads to paint, and, I have pulled another of Tamer's projects off the bench to work on. Who knows what i will choose but something needs to get done around here.

thanks mungo. I was having trouble casting a part for Tamer's forgotten helmet project so I ended up getting some more done to the femando figure. I finished paintwork to the yellow on her legs and painted the scarlet boots a light brown color with dark grey brown detail lines and soles. The leg armor in the one shot looks a lot brighter before I weather it up with the dark grey color. I got the holster painted and glued back on and have painted the pistol dark dark grey but still need to put some detail paint on that. I still need to add the leg strap on to the one back side of the one leg but other than that, i' m not sure what needs to be done.

I strayed off on a tangent last night as I had hinted to and continued a trend i had set years ago by returning to one of Tamer's forgotten projects which had sit abandoned on an inconspicuous part of my workbench for some time now. This was the helmet from a custom early in my carrier that had become the first custom in Tamer's collection. It featured a mix of two resin helmets with a GM in the front and a mando in the back. Toy abusing Tamer had split the two halves trying to fit the bucket onto a 6 inch unleashed figure or something and had sent it back for repairs some time ago. "i believe that I had documented the start of the repairs earlier in this thread. Shawn, if you would dive into my first custom thread to find a pic of the original custom, hat would be great" Anyway, I had rebuilt the helmet with a larger mando back making the bucket about two sized larger on the inside and all i lacked getting done was reattaching the rangefinder and returning the paint to the original specs. I opted to rework the stalk for the static mounted mando rangefinder to accept the receiving hole for one of my arc trooper style multi position rangefinders. Now, all i lack is the paintwork to get the helmet back to completion and sent back to Shawn along with another Ole Painless gun that he had also broke. "the first one had an airbubble in a bad spot and had snapped on him. My techniques for degassing much are much improved now" I believe that the custom in question was based on a galactic marine but thought the head was smaller so I test fit the new helmet on one I had in the hobby room and found that while it used to fit tight, now it fits loose so, we may have room for you to pose it onto that unleashed Jar Jar you were trying to armor up, Shawn. "i love giving Tamer a hard time"

Oh yea, the fix is even better than the first attempt. Isn't it cool learning new techniques over time?
