Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

Phatty

I LOVE THAT COLOR SCHEME YOU CHOSE!!!

The gold around the cockpit is outstanding!

The black with the purple highlights, regal yet sinister.

And the  highly advanced and modified astromech R2-P8, tracking ion trails, that is genius!

Great job

pat... I love the colors you chose for that V-wing.  I'm just not a big fan of the ship itself.  If I were customizing one of those I would remove the side wings and add some kind of horizontal wing that would come out at an angle forward.  Perhaps even rotate the virticle wing struts around to the sides and make them jut out...  I just like the streamlined look of the fighter without the silly "wanna-be tie--pannels" sticking up and down on the side.

I also think that the "princess" would have a highly customized ship that would resemble the original vehicle but at the same time deviate greatly from it's intended look.... similar to the idea of Anakin's modified jedi starfighter that had the huge engines added on.

now... that being said... I LOVE your work on this, what I said above is just the approach I would have taken... so it realy doesn't matter! lol
