My first DIO post

Hi all,

I have been following the post on here for a while and am so impressed with all I have seen.  So...as my first post, I am finally putting up a few pics of a dio. I recently finished.  Nothing especially complex, but I had fun making it!  Enjoy

Man, that is awesome!! I love the little control area and the paint apps on the death star gun.

Now that is a heck of a way to introduce yourself.

Welcome to ISY. I too am liking that vintage death star playset gun with control set up. I can see Clint already beat me to putting it on the front page too.

Welcome to the Yards! Very nice work on this piece. I love that control center and those boxes. Nice work on the gun and the wall work too!

Thank you all for the strong reception...it is much appreciated!!!  It's kind of funny that this is the first DIO I have made in over 20 yrs. (since I was a teenager).  I have a couple of other projects in the works, but will hopefully be posting some custom work today or tomorrow.  I look forward to this adventure...

I love the Kyron image...Robotech is my other favorite (Star Wars is first of course)!

Again thank you for your kind comments.  As I see all of the unique and absolutely wonderful creations on here, I am at a loss with my work (i.e. how did it make the front page???).  I am learning things every second on here!!! :)
