Some of the best deals around the Holiday sales here in Germany could be found at Elbenwald.
Boba Fett's Slave 1 was 50% off the insane MRSP. So 90€ were a fair price and since this ship will never be called Slave I ever again thanks to Di$ney, I got 4 of them. Still I hope to be able to trade for an AT-ST Raider some day. Wish I had discovered this BestBuy exclusive on Amazon when it was sold for 67€ for months!

I selected click & collect and picked up this huge box at my local store. This is the biggest box I've ever gotten and the boxes inside came in okay condition. Only one came with a hole on the base, the rest "only" is dented here and there.

This is the one item that has always been missing from my collection.
Only because I couldn't justify the expense.
Well, I saw this one for not a lot of credits so I snagged it and it finally arrived today.

Woah! The Imperial Shuttle is truly a jewel in every collection! I only saw the SAGA'02 version on conventions a couple times. When I started collecting in 2005, I discovered a local comic shop. Exciting times. And they had the TSC version for 129.99€. It was sold before I had saved enough pocket money.

Congratulations to this phenomenal and iconic ship of the Star Wars universe. I recently had to think of the next HasLab and Patrick's voice always comes to mind: a never before made, dream item!
So even though the demand is there, I'm afraid it's unlikely that Hasbro will make the Shuttle a HasLab. And with the 40th Anniversary of ROTJ it would be a perfect occasion to release an all-new one. But recent years proved that an all-new Speeder Bike is probably the biggest vehicle they give us.
So in my opinion it was a very smart decision to still keep watching for one and finally getting it!
I'm very excited and happy for you! I still don't have the Shuttle myself. It's one of the coolest ships out there.

Nice shuttle Ron. I haven't seen one of those let alone the box in a few years!

I had forgotten I had ordered these. Showed up in a mailing envelope. Came through fairly unscathed.

Looks like they just got all Cobb Vanth's stuff.

Part two of I never had one of these in my collection. Again, I couldn't justify the credits at the time.
But when I saw this and it was definitely in my price range I snagged it.
Finally showed up at my front door today and I must say THIS THING IS HUGE!!!! 32" long.
Now I'm gonna have to do a major reset with my collection.

"Fairly unscathed" is pretty good. Its a bit sad when we forget we ordered something though, isn't it - sad state of affairs with distribution. I miss the days when I would ride my bike to Kmart on Friday afternoon after school to see what new figures were being stocked. It became a kind of ritual...but I got all the Star Wars and ESB figures from the original Kenner line that way.

Is that the 12" Sandtrooper and Dewback set? I remember that in the stores  :)

That Dewback set is awesome Ron. I am starting to wonder if I ought to just give up on most of the new stuff and invest in some of the better older stuff.

Well I got in a box from Pulse. It was buggered up, but the figure came through unscathed.

Love the atst vintage cardback. This one is gonna sell a lot of figures. I don't know why Hasbro doesn't do more of these types of figures.

Now if only I could find one of these AT-ST's in a good box.

It is a cool figure. I got one off TungHori several months ago, for well, a lot of money. I could see people making customs with it.

I got another Dok Ondar mystery crate. This time I got General Geivious' battle mask, either that or Dr. Zoidburg skull. Either way it might look cool on my pirate throne. The two crates connect in both horizontal and vertical configurations.

I really like those crates.

Interesting to see Hasbro's new take on all the pre-orders.

Even though I am no longer a hardcore collector I do keep an eye out for my
favorites. Those would be 12" figures.
Here a couple that I picked up recently.
