Tuesday Mail Call!

Finally got one of these from the UK thanks to a Facebook friend!

This is the second time this year that I had to get something from overseas that should have been widely available here in the States (first one was the Target Spinosaurus that another UK Facebook friend hooked me up with). Hasbro and Mattel dropped the ball here but thanks to great friends abroad I can add these items to my collection.

Its good to have friends all over. I know I have sure been able to purse my collecting dreams thanks to a few good friends overseas. I know its a shame we can't get what we want here, but glad you got what you wanted Dan.

I so need to make some store runs. I feel like I might be wasting my time, but miss the old store hopping experience and the joy of finding new stuff on the pegs. It is so much easier to just order online though.

I got my replacement Poe TVC X-Wing...Thankfully, I was able to swap the best parts between the old and new one to get one good ship. Otherwise, I think I would have probably returned this one as well. ><

Jodo, so the newer one you got had problems too? Sitting here shaking my head this morning that you had to literally chop up two new ships to make one good one.

Jodo: I'm glad you got Poe's X-Wing! I like its color pattern and features. Did you return the first one where you purchased it or did Hasbro's consumer service send you a new one?

Tamer: I agree that shouldn't be an issue with a product that passed quality control! Especially not when they charge us a premium price for a supossedly premium product of The Vintage Collection...I think over the years we all discovered that Hasbro's products are not perfect at all. Even for being toys we collect. I learned to look over that. And feel a little better with my own painting skills...

The Spectre: Wow, that's a nice mix of parts and bodies! I love fodder bags like this! I'm sure you can use this one well for future projects or further trades!
Thanks for sharing this beaituful picture!

Yes, and the issues varied between both of them. Some of the lazer canons on the second one were glued wrong, so they didn’t line up, and one was not glued at all. And one of the wings on this second barely had any dark wash on it, so it didn’t match. The one engine is dark on this one as well, but not nearly as noticeable as the first’s.

Darth More, no I am returning it through Amazon. I wondered what Hasbro would do though...Or if I complained if they’d offer me something. I still have a pair of $3 off coupons because my TLJ Luke looked so bad and they didn’t have any replacements to offer me...But that was also purchased through Pulse.

Got those from ebay last week. 69,99€ shipped. I wanted this TVC Bastila Shan even though she didn't come with her lightsaber. Instead, she came with the lightsaber of Nicanas Tassu who came with one of the Geonosis Arena 2-Packs of The Legacy Collection. I got him twice, but one came with another green lightsaber of General Grievous. 8 bucks wasn't bad for Bastila to have Mr Tassu completed now, too. Especially for the fact that he's found on ebay for a whopping $50-90!!!
This is also my 3rd Bastila figure and I might make a custom Dark Side Bastila (KotOR dark side ending) of her...she'd look nice in black!

I got 2 TVC Super Battle Droids so far, but this is the first one which actually came with the mysterious blaster (to be re-casted...).
That Doctor Aphra Set looked too great to pass for 22€. I like BT-1 and his add-ons especially because they truly make him look like a comic figure! They'd never fit in his dome...love those figures and remind me of the good ole days of The Vintage Collection. Let's hope for a good ESB based year of 2020 for The Vintage Collection. Dew it Hasbro!! You've disappointed way too much since 2015!

Not for sale.

I got a huge ole box from Hasbro earlier this week. It had the vintage Poe X-Wing along with four other vintage figures including the Knight of Ren. Nice figure and packaging on that one along with the Jet Trooper. I actually went out a little bit looking for new stuff, but it was a wastleand in my area.

That Aphra Set is nice.

Wow, looks like you got everything covered! These Fortnite figures seem to sell well. Yet, I wouldn't know what to use them for as custom fodder. I like those Heineken bottles!

Would you pay $25 for each of these ships?

Or $50 for each of these two TVC TIE Interceptors? One loose one in sealed box?
