Good score Tamer. I should check out dorkside more often.

As for the Bandai Kits I never really got into those. I do think they're cool but not really up my alley. Plus they are a bit expensive as well.

I talked myself into getting a couple Bandai Kits. I bought the TIE Fighter and Advanced TIE Fighter. Both for $22.00 each+ free shipping on Amazon. I'd rather buy Bandai stuff on Amazon but eBay is good too. They ship from Japan so it'll take a few weeks probably. I'm thinking of kitbashing them to make a TIE Interceptor. We'll see though. Just couldn't pass it up. They are great kits. Same quality as Fine Molds but a little cheaper.  I believe that Fine Molds lost their licencing for star wars and was bought by Bandai. And Fine Molds got their measurements from the original ILM models. It's possible I'm wrong none the less, Bandai has some very finely detailed models. I'm sure I'll post pics and a basic review.

I may look into those down the line. I'm still finishing up my Titanium collection, as well as getting the 18 Action Fleet Battle packs (cries).  However I did just pick up a TIE Droid resin kit on ebay from scale solutions. He is located in Australia though, but it only took a week and a half to get here. It's unpainted, and I'm prepping it as we speak. It's the TIE Droid seen in Rogue Squadron and Dark Empire.

Sweet! I gotta see that TIE Droid when your finished. Resin kits are fantastic and high dollar, I personally haven't bought one yet, but meybe I'll bite the bullet for one or two down the road.

This is my first time doing a resin kit and it was a bit expensive, so I'm being extra careful. Ever since playing Rogue Squadron I always wanted an Action Fleet ship of this. It's in scale with the other TIEs (1/72) so this is close enough. An awesome piece.

Here's a sneak peak.

That's some great looking detail. Pretty awesome. I do like the EU fighter variants they came up with some cool designs. If I get better at modeling I'd love to get the resin star destroyer. Or blockade runner. That's wishful thinking. Man, that does look cool. Now I want one. On eBay.au I found the star bomber that looks cool. Au$50. Not sure the conversion but I may pull the trigger on that.

That is almost disturbing news. Tj maxx, already?
This has been one of the go-to places for hasbro to ditch stuff that they couldn't distribute properly lately.
Wonder what other rebels stuff is being sent to discount distributers?

Wow, good score Tom. I am gonna have to get down there to see if my closest store has any of these. I agree with Clint, seems a bit too soon. Makes you wonder if that AT-DP is gonna show up there too.

They had the Rebels Tie Fighter too but I could only get one thing. I'll try to post some pics of this thing full of Stormies.

No shawn, I would have hoarded those.
The little rebels themed command sets were also there.
There were more than one type but I didn't take pics. Price was still to high for me to bite

Looking at the pics on the transport box left me disinterested. Almost looked cheaper than the at-dp
I left the two of them on the shelf
