Just got back from San Diego. I picked up a CW El-Les and the Rebel Transport Speeder at TRU. You guys won't believe me but at that TRU in San Diego they had TWO of those Delta Squad packs for 40 bucks each, and my wife wouldn't let me get one. I was just sitting there holding it in my hand for a few minutes and then put it down and walked out. All I got at Legoland was a Boba Fett keychain.

I'm sorry that your wife didn't understand that you could probably have re-financed your own Delta pack by selling the other on Ebay in a short while.

Wow Tom, thats a tough one, but a person does have to say within a budget. I know how that works.

Quite a few years ago I made my own checking account just for my SW purchases and it has meant a lot more peace in the Tamer household. I went nuts on this stuff when I got back into it and this was the solution that has worked. I give myself an allowance per month now and don't go beyond it. Ofcourse I don't have the problems you do because I can't seem to find anything new in my stores! Thank God for the Yarders!

Speaking of having a hard time finding things, Tamer, I got you a present today!  I was at a local Target to pick up a new sheet set for my bed at work, and came across a lone, Captain Fordo TVC figure, nicely carded with the punch tab still attacked mostly.  It was punched slightly to hang on the peg, but not all the way so it's still there.  Card condition is probably C9.5 or higher, slight warp to cardback from packaging, but can be flattened out simply by letting it lay flat on a table for a bit.  No creases, no bubble dents, no scratches that I could see.  It'll be on it's way to you sometime this week when I have a moment to go to the post office!

Yeah, we were on vacation and really did have to stick to a budget. If I found those guys at my local TRU I could have picked it up. Gas in California was roughly 4 bucks a gallon and we were eating out a lot....... bla bla bla. I like Republic Commandos but I never expected to buy these guys in the first place, so that's what keeps me from kicking myself. And Tamer, my wife likes that idea of having a Star Wars checking account.

Sweet deal Pat, I can cross that off my list! Freaking awesome!

And Tom, I hear you, as I go through different phases of my collecting this system just worked for me. I keep all my SW items separate from my mainstream bills and my wife digs it.

As for some new things I just got from the Yarders. Lucasclones found me the Target Imperial Set and it showed up minty minty fresh.

And speaking of Tom my new AT-AT Technician came in and it looks awesome!

And to top that all my wife checked the post office for me and these are in!

I am gonna get to work on these to hopefully have them all out no later than Monday!

Shab, I was lucky a minute ago: Won two Ebay auctions, one over Antares Draco, Ganner Krieg and Darth Maleval, the other over the Jedi Evolutions figures Qui-Gon, Bultar Swan and Luke.
All loose but complete and I paid small money for them.

Super excited for those T-shirts!

Kurgan, those are some nice figures, especially if you got them on the cheap!

Well we went school shopping for the first time today, hard to believe my little gal is old enough to go to school already, and I didn't see a single new SW figure so as I was strolling through the mall I spied the Hallmark Store and am I glad I did. They were down to one each on these and that Bossk was a special behind the counter ask as it was a "limited quantity" item. Now if there was just some way for me to get hold of the SDCC Halmark IGGY and Dengar I would be set!

New arrivals: Emperor's Royal Guard and TFU Shadow Guard, both loose, but in mint condition.

Today at Toys'R'Us i scored the exclusive Republic Commando set .. butt
in The Force Unleashed Box !!  :D
it was the last one .. so I'm pretty sure this is a factory error . So is it valuable ?
What should i do ? Open it or keep it boxed ?
