Wow, not bad.
Unlike so many GIs you've gone through the ordeal of learning German (which is not an easy language).
Let me know whewn you will be here in December and we will arrange a meeting. Thanks for your offer, I'll gladly take you up on it.
Most certainly that's going to be a load of the new Cody figures...

I'm doing well mate.
Koblenz is about 40 minutes away from my place so if you're in the 'hood again, let me know so we can arrange a gettogether.

Commander,

Love the customs, the 175th Special Operations Group are really superb.

You seem to have mastered the art of dry brushing, not too much, not too little and it's great to see your little ones being let loose on the customs as well.

Now, when do we see more!

J

Thanks for the praise.
I've talked to a friend of mine who is a professional painter of historical miniatures. He suggested that I should use a soft flat hair brush (and bin that old bristle brush I've been using) for drybrushing to eliminate the brush marks which show so obviously in the closeup photos.

I'm working on several customs right now.
You'll soon meet Sergeant Major Grizz of the 175th, Field Agent Cilia Vereen, Captain Jaller Obrim (Coruscant Security Forces) and some characters who have not been named yet.
Stay tuned...

You'll be able to recognize some of your custom resin casts in them, too...

I know, I’ve kept you waiting, but work has been taking its toll on my spare time.
Anyway, here are my most recently finished custom figures:

Sergeant Crank, Reconnaissance Platoon, 175th Special Operations Group

Crank is basically a repaint of the Comic Pack Commander Faie with some additional small parts from various Dragon Models 1/35 scale figure kits (like the additional pouch on his right shoulder plate and the receiver on his belt), a holster and Blaster pistol from the EE Mandalorian Dred Priest and a pulse rifle from Marauder Gun Runners.

I also present Field Agent Cilia Vereen, Republic Social Administration

Cilia is based on the new CW Commander Gree with a repainted GI Joe ROC Scarlett head. She’s a very simple custom. I'm quite positive that I'll give her body a completely new paintjob in the near future...

Personal journal of Cilia Vereen, Field Agent, Republic Social Administration

I’ve returned from my classified mission.
With a bit of luck we will succeed in finally wrestling the planet out of the stranglehold of the Separatists.
Their society being dominated by in-fighting between the various tribes made the planet an easy target for the Seps who played out the tribes against each other.
We made contact with the local resistance cells and organized and trained them to act as guerrilla fighters.
The part of winning their hearts and minds was easy compared to getting them to put their tribal conflicts aside. For the time being it seems to work.

Teaming up with Sergeant Major Grizz of the 175th was less challenging than I thought, though. He is the senior NCO of the unit and had been detached as my Spec Ops Clone Advisor on this job.

Grizz is a very peculiar character.
Although he is of the same built and height as all the other troopers, he seems to be towering over them. He has a booming voice, piercing gaze and grizzled hair, hence his name. He is radiating competence and authority.
We have been in some scraps and I’ve never seen such a fierce man. I’ve seen him kill with absolute precision and ruthlessness and I’ve seen him kill with his bare hands and even his teeth in close quarters fighting.
As calm and friendly  as he is to me, as terrifying he is in battle. Sometimes it seems that even his vode are afraid of him.

So stay tuned for Sergeant Major Grizz...
