Kinda figured you might have a few Sith. And very nice ones at that. Off to share. I liked seeing you post some artwork with each figure showing how closely you matched that up. I really enjoyed seeing your work with soft goods on these too. I think Hasbro really screws that up at times, but you show you it can really enhance a figure if done correctly.

Thanks for the kind words and the flattering post on the front page!

I have a bunch of new figures that have been coming together great.  I'm really pleased with some of the results (especially since some are commissions and gifts).  However... I have a few more posts of older pieces coming before I jump into the new ones.  I have some groups of Ewoks, Clones, Imperials, Rebels, Mandalorians and misc. characters coming up.  Hope you all enjoy them.

Hi again- I think Clones will be the order of the day today.  I've already shared the RCs and Rex.  Here are a few others Ive done.

First off is a complete Domino Squad.  The markings are as accurate as I couldmake them from the Clone Wars.

Before we saw Generation II ARC Troopers in the Clone Wars, this is my impression of what they would look like.

This is CC-1014 - Captain Regar.  I imagine him as 2nd in command to Commander Gree

Before Hasbro brought us Hawkbat Battalion Clones, I made this one.  Once the Hawkbats became available, he became the squad leader on my shelf - CC12-0068 - Major Twelve

Let me know what you think.  Thanks!

I am liking that ARC Trooper. Off to share yet again. I can't wait to see what other genres you may be hiding.

Thanks again everyone.

I didn't see a thread for tips and tricks, but I made an odd customizing chemistry discovery last night.  I was using the head from the pregnant nightgown Padme for another figure and I wanted to make it blonde.  I was having trouble getting yellow to cover the Hasbro brunette hair, so I decided to spray prime the head.  I wanted to keep the face paint intact, so I needed to mask it.  I had a piece of Super Sculpey handy with which I covered the face so i could spray the head.

I let the whole thing dry overnight and when went to remove the Super Sculpey, I found it ate into the Hasbro paint on the face and made the paint all rubbery.  It was almost like when you leave paint stripper sitting on an old piece of woodwork, but harder to remove.  I ended up scraping most of it off, and I have to repaint the face now.  My problem now is redoing the eyes.  Some of you guys do an amazing job on eyes.  I'm not quite there yet.  Maybe she'll end up being a Miraluka...  :)

Anyway, I just thought it was interesting and should be shared that Super Sculpey will eat into the stock paint on some figures.

Here's my next category of older figures... Droids!  Enjoy

Some painted astromechs (some better than others)

This one is an Assassin/Battle Droid built by an insectoid race

This one is a little starship maintenance droid

This is a general labor droid, which sports a tripod stance for maximum stability while lifting.

This is an aging astromech of the same vintage as the R1 model.

An Imperial surgeon 2-1B

This is a patrol/sentry droid often utilized to guard estates of the galactic elite.

This is a courrier droid that was used througout the halls of the Old Republic Senate.  Whenever the droid encountered congestion in the halls, it could scale the walls and ceilings in order to deliver it's packages.

A battered and weathered Gonk droid

This is Emtrey - the M-3PO unit used by Rogue Squdron in the Rogue Squadron novels, recognized by his black finish and clamshell head.

An ancient protocol droid.

Most species design droids that reflect their physiology.  This one was designed and built by a Dug automation firm.

Here are some feral droids (a concept more frightening to me than Star Wars zombies) from Coruscant's underworld.

Let me know what you think.  Thanks!

Awesome droid update too. I really liked that R1 series. Some of the ugly concepts you have put together are awesome too. Off to share.

We made it through the holidays, and I made it through a few new customs, which has me anxious to get the rest of my older pieces posted to I can unveil the new ones.

Today's submission is Ewoks.

Just catching up with your last 3 updates! Very nice work! I really love the astromechs and that R1 is a great design. The Ewoks are fabulous! Really nice parts added and the painting is some of your best to date. Way to wrap up the year with these great customs.
