That's cool. I like getting creative criticism and the person standing up for what they really think than just blowing smoke. I like talking about customs not just making them and looking at them. For you to not have much time to customise you are really cranking them out! Another tip, I take home a few condiment cup and lids when I am eating at a restaurant that has them. If you want to paint a trooper with green, mix a bit of paint with a drop or 2 of water depending on the thickness of the paint in one of these cups. Paint for a few minutes, if you have to quit, put the lid on the cup and come back to it later. I do this all the time working in 15 minite intervals hours apart.

yep i agree with what LE said also it might be worth your while trying the "tape" method to get your lines  pin sharp (i use freehand cos i couldnt get on with it but sithlord229 does and it works a treat for him ) its a great custom  you will find you will improve with each custom as you learn more and more  tricks of the trade...

Glad to help you grow my friend. If you try the tape method don't water the paint down too much as it will be more apt to bleed under the tape. If tape isn't your thing just free hand it then use an exacto to scrape off the imperfections, touch up next layer of paint and scrape a bit again. I would also suggest the use of a pencil first to get the line you want then paint over it covering the pencil line. There are many little tricks to achieving a better end result and you will learn and get beeter as you go. For me the biggest thing was slowing down and not rushing. When I look over my custom portfolio I can tell ones I rushed from ones I took my time on.
