Another batch of great figures! Hewe kind of reminds me of my old sales director without the beard.

Nice. You are off to a nice start.

Off to share.
Thanks! Doesn't look like much but I wanted to show the armature before I cover it up.

That's cool. Thanks for sharing your process and your knowledge of jungle flora :)

Thank you! I like to learn about filming location's geology, flora fauna when making dioramas. The developers of Battlefront went to the filming locations, took pictures, 3d scans all kinds of stuff to recreate the environment. I actually use Battlefront as a reference a lot.  I like my monstara armature, it's pretty accurate structurally.  Hard to get a good picture with thin wire.

Hewe Nieblain – Hewe has spent most of his life working in and around mines. He ended his career as a mining foreman in the mineral mines deep in the Farsolax tundra, fleeing after having accused the mine’s corporate owners of dozens of code violations. Making his way across the tundra, Hewe found the town of Safa Thewel and his safe haven. He is a bit of a curmudgeon in the morning until he has had his morning “pick me up” from the Safa Thewel cantina, after which Hewe is a very helpful to his fellow citizens as a stonemason and construction foreman and regales the children with stories of his adventures.

Prodishu Teridol – Yet another refugee who has found solace in Safa Thewel. A Klatooinian, Prodi was sold to the mines by his Hutt master after insulting her Kowakian monkey lizard. One of a small group of laborers left behind when the mines were abandoned after a series of scandals and set-backs, Prodi was eventually found, injured and nearly starved, by the prospector Seibb Nubres, who brought him home to Safa Thewel. After he recovered, Prodi was trained by local brewer Bec Tondeetra to serve as the bartender at Bec’s cantina.

Recipes:
Hewe:
Head = LOTR Balin
Body = Jango Fett
Overshirt = mail away Modal Nodes

Prodi:
Head/Hands= Klatooinian Marauder
Torso = Plo Koon
Vest = from fodder box (Greedo I believe)
Arms = Indiana Jones
Apron = Boss Fight Mini-kit chef
Legs = Wooof

I made an armature for a Kapok tree out of hangar wire. The root system will be growing around a stone ruin. The next step is to make the stone ruin and cover the armature in foil, then paper mache over the foil.
  Also I made two Monstara Deliciosa armatures with wire and leaves from the Michael's micro plant monstara. The Michael's miniature had it like a bush but it's actually a vine. I also added more fenestration cuts in the leaves, as the leaves get bigger, the more fenestrations and perforations they have, to scale these leaves would be huge. Then I added arial roots, as older vines produce them for stabilization. Im going to have to coat the armature in wood glue im thinking. A glue/paint mix.
We'll see how this goes.

After work thrift store score!

The orange hadrosaur is a Playskool "Definitely Dinosaurs" figure from 1987 and was $3.99.

The giant bag of goodies didn't have a price but the cashier gave it to me for $4.99! I wanted it primarily for the foliage pieces from Playmobile. The third picture is the additional items from the bag that I am keeping while the fourth picture is stuff for my nephew and niece.
