Title: Non-US Foreign Currency
Post by: UnitedStatesDemocrat on November 09, 2009, 06:21:47 PM
I was wondering if anyone had any foreign currency that they would be willing to trade?  I suppose I shall list that this isn't my main collecting interest, but I will try and make a deal that suits the dealer.  Thank you!

if you have a federal bank in your city, you can get any currency you want, might take a bit, but they exchange to all countries, :)

But selling star wars stuff to foreigners is cheaper. . .:)

A federal bank?  Such as the ones they mint the U.S. Bills and Coins at, or a common bank such as Metro or Citizens.

What about pre-EURO Deutsche Mark?
I've still got some Mark coins which contained more silver than the value stamped on them said.

That might be possible, Greg.  Do you want me to get you an inventory of figs?

I would also be interested in trading with you Kurgan.  May I ask what price you had in mind?

Would that float your boat?

Sheesh, Greg, I have money for passes, but to fly down there would be too much.  Maybe we could work out some deal throught the mail?

Thanks a lot Serg.  I heard you guys have new RON?  Do you happen to have any old lei you'd be willing to trade?

I think I'm covered on the German coins, Volker.  Thank you very much, though.

I won this item over on eBay for One Penny, so a Dollar for a Penny is a great deal!  I realize it is a Silver Certificate and not a Federal Reserve note, so it makes a great collectors item.

Very slick Dan!  You have a rather nice collection of money going on there!

I always found it funny how money can be worth more than it's face value!

I know, even for the smallest things, like being from before the 1950's, being a Star Note, or just having a cool serial number.

After a very generous gift from Greg, I am now after some more items, once again.  As noted before, I am able to pay in cash, or though trades, if one is worked out.  Here are the items I'm after:

-European Union Euro Notes
-Great Britain Pound Notes
-Australian Dollar Notes
-Romanian Leu Notes

That seems about it for now.  If you have an offer, don't hesitate to PM me.  I'll accept almost anything, lol!
