I've done a lot of Star wars customs, this is my first attempt at something different. I will post pics of Star Wars stuff too.

Great work

Thanks!

That Medusa is awesome. Love COTT as a kid. Still do truth be told. I think it is much better than the newer ones they made. Like the SW Stuff too.
Off to share it on the front pages.
-
Your TITAN figures look pretty nice! After scrolling down my jaw dropped and hit the desk, again. Your customs from The Mandaorian look just epic! Really dig The Client and all the characters from the Prison break episode! You're the first one in the world who made those - at least what I know (without Insta and stuff).
And you released those remnant Stormtroopers even before Hasbro did!
Awesome catalogue of customs there - thank you so much for joining & sharing your work with us on here!
Now, I go back looking at your customs for the rest of the day. With all the lack of newness in 3.75" and Hasbro neglecting collectors, custom work like yours is just so refreshing…
Respect from Germany!

Thank you for the kind words, glad you liked them!

Lots of great work here!

Great work on all the custom mate.
Ron

Thanks, (SID) & hemble!

Great stuff Lenny! Those Ray Harryhausen dynamation films were some of my favorites growing up. Your customs reminded me of this, and now I want to watch them again. :)

Thanks Aude!

Wow, SO many cool customs here! The Colonel and Solomahal have really interesting head sculpts. I think my favorites are the Tonnika sisters in Vintage Kenner style. But they all look so awesome, so tough choice. I also like the chairs and the clay you used for the Cantina section. You Keep Wuher busier than Hasbro do. Excellent job!
-
Wow, so awesome. I too love those Tonnika Sisters. Great stuff all though. Let me go get some of this on the front pages.

Thanks! The Colonel , Solomahal, Tonika sisters and Arleil Shous, Melas head sculpts are from Riff Valley design works. The cantina chairs and tables are from Hole in the ground productions. The cantina alcove section I made from super sculpy.

Three more Mandalorian customs...
-
Those are great too. Man, all kinds of awesome custom goodness up in here. Off to the front pages.
-
My guess: Your thread will stay more exciting than New York Toy Fair as far as The Vintage Collection is concerned. Really awesome customs here! I think you caught the likeness of Kuill very well. And I find the Landspeeder attendant with his flute quite an odd detail, but it's a unique idea and quite a statement that you made a custom of him. The third one looks brilliant, too!
-
Thanks for the nice comments, TAMER & Darth More!
-
Nice work! I like Tzizvvt, the head sculpt is very entertaining. I also like the wookie Chalmun and the mustachioed Ugly Man. Lots of fun all around!
-

Thanks Moronarama. The Tzizvvt head sculpt is from Riff Valley design works. I got a few heads from Riff a couple of years ago. Glad to see Moustache ugly man get some recognition, I thought he was kind of a stretch with the limited pics I've seen of him.
-
Very cool custom cantina figures! I am seeing quite a few custom cast heads of mine utilized for those cantina figures. It is always cool for me to see how fellow customizers use my custom cast heads to create their own custom figures. Thanks for the shout out on the custom Tzizvvt cast head I made for you. Great job on those custom figures!

Thanks Fett, glad you like`em.

Hey, these are great. Back to the front pages.
Really like that Adiss.
Thanks Tamer! I tried to go in a different direction with Cane Adiss. The customs of him I've seen he either has a dinosaur body or an eel like physique . I used a Fode and Beed body, wire and green stuff to make him.
-
Wow Lenny what a great set of customs. You've been busy, so thanks for sharing. There is a lot of good stuff in there - I really like the Mandalorian figures particularly! I also really liked the classic Clash of the Titans figures. Welcome to the 'yards and thanks for sharing.
-
A lot to love here! Nice work!
Also, did you shorten the Mosep body to make Yoxgit?
-

Thanks, Philip M. Provost. Yes, that's exactly what I did to make Yoxgit.
-
Whoa lots of great stuff here. Love all the POTF2 / EP1 parts used. That Cane is a sure hit. I think many will copy your rendition... I know I will since that original figure serves no other purpose for fodder (bravo on that my friend 😁). I had no idea about Bron Burs that guy is cool. Liked you made the Dug too, I have zero complaints about added aliens "back" in to other era's of SW.
-
Thanks, SID!

A couple of Bespin customs featuring mostly head swaps, a Lando vinyl cape, Treva Horme and Wiorkettle.

Headswapapalooza for Rogue Platoon...

-
Dude, you're better prepared for the 40th Anniversary of TESB than Hasbro! WAY better!
Okay, your army of Endor Rebel soldiers just punched me off the chair! Wow, what an army!
-
Wow, you got yourself quite the army there. I like it.
Off to the front pages.
-
Impressive. Once again great use of POTF2 😉 the figures are perfect for fodder. Ironic considering 20+ years ago we had hardly (to none) fodder to use with these. Now its an extreme reverse.
-
Thanks Darth More, Tamer & SID!
-
Very cool. I'm not sure which I like better the bespin citizens or your rebel commando army. The commandos have great individual personality, while still being uniformed.
-
Thanks JDeck!
-
Wow! Great head swaps - it really fills out your Rebel commando ranks. There are some great ideas in there - I like the Iktotchi with the Massif. I also really like the Abednedo technician. Great job all the way 'round.
-
Most impressive!
I'm working on a little rebel commando squad right now, but no where near this many.
-

Cassian Andor figures were relatively cheap on amazon last time I checked. The brown jacket and blue parka one are perfect for head swaps.
-
Very nice! You've got a nice variety. It'd be cool to see all the Bespin figures in a diorama together, puttering about their jobs.

My attempt @ some custom pandemic humor...

That’s pure gold! ;D it really is...

I love it! Made me laugh, so I'd call it a success.

Nice. I feel the angst :)

LOL. Hilarious.

Blacksmith/Armorer added to my list of Mandalorian customs....

She is great! Man, can't wait to see her made by Hasbro.
Off to the front pages.

Nice job! I see the Nemoidian gunner's belt/upper leg covering. What else did you use for this build?
-

Thanks Tamer! I hope they make her, endless possibilities with the series.
-
Nice job! I see the Nemoidian gunner's belt/upper leg covering. What else did you use for this build?
Thanks Starchaser! The head is from wattos scrapyard, upper body is from Jango Fett pilot, lower arms are from Rum Sleg, legs are from Mace Windu her pelt is sculpted green stuff and the gloves are unknown from my fodder pile...
-
Wow, I agree! Another well tackled 3 3/4" version of the armorer - espceially the helmet! Well done!
-
Awesome job, looks the part ..i would also love a hasbro release in the vintage collection

A pair of Jabba's "Elite" Guards with some experimental photo filters...
-
They look elite alright. I think the third photo is my favorite.
-
Nice. I like that third image too. Off to the front pages.
-
I have to agree with Aude and Tamer - #3 is my preference as well. I like the design you developed for these "elite" guards, simple yet effective. Really great figures.
-
Very cool.
I like the second one. The filter makes it almost look like a colored pencil drawing.
-
Thanks Aude, Tamer, Starchaser and Clonehead!
-
These guards look really great! I like the helmet designs, and the capes look great on them.
-
Thanks JDeck!
-
My daughter asked me today if the Star Wars people get sick of wearing the same clothes. Simple head swaps to the rescue. Also discovered that C'AI Threnali helmets fit other big heads perfectly...
-
I like those pilots! Great head swaps, too.
-

A few Bounty Hunters from the fodder pile...
-
Cool guys. Simple head swaps and kitbashes are underrated, they're effective at making new characters. I'm going to start calling them "Fodder Figures" kind of a play on words.
-
Your daughter made an excellent point here. It was probably impossible, even for a legendary designer like Trisha Biggar and her crew, to make so many different costumes that every character could change styles like Queen Amidala. But I agree 100%, they change planets like their socks, but not their costumes. All companies that produce merch of the characters would've certainly welcomed more variety as well! $$$
Costumes have been expensive ever since - also in classic Theater. And George wanted to make a space opera with poignant destinies on a limited budget. Then customizing enters the stage.
Really nice customs here - I could well imagine an adventure of the OT crew in these outfits! Oh, well. This will never happen...
-
Nice fodder BH's. I like them.
Off to the front page.
-
Thanks JDeck, Darth More & Tamer!
-
I agree with you about kitbashed figures being underrated - of course that's how I build most of my figures:) This collection of bounty hunters turned out well and would totally fit into the background of the Guild on Nevarro.
-
Great customs, Lenny. Your armorer is absolutely terrific! Love your kitbash customs. I've been going through my fodder junk pile trying to see what I can scrounge together from years of leftover parts. You've definitely given me inspiration there!
-
Thanks Starchaser & Lance!
-
A few simple imaginext customs. We really enjoy collecting this line. I keep on thinking is going to end but, Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!
-
These are great! Off to the front pages.
-
Those are pretty cool! I don't collect the newer Imaginext, but my son loved the original knights when back when he was a kid, and we have a massive box of those (with the castles) all packed away for the grandkids (or those days when my college aged son and I just want to pretend we are eight).
-
Thanks guys!
-
These look like fun little guys! Remind me of Hasbro's new Mission Fleet figures...
-
They are fun! Very easy go collect.
-
Here's a couple of vintage fleet troopers I made a while back....
-
Those are great! Man so nice.
Off to share on the front pages. I could so see those in a vintage card.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
Lenny, those troopers turned out really well. I love how the blue "pops" on their shirts.
-
Thanks Starchaser!
-
Made a custom "claw" for the Bespin playset. Used some wood apoxy sculp and fodder to put it together.??

-
Such a cool addition. Man, you could make thousands of dollars if you would make and sell these. Just awesome!
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
I am not a fan of the set but what you have done is amazing and is the perfect addition to it.
-
Outstanding work! Full disclosure...I'mma steal that idea.
-
Thanks Tamer!
You are quite welcome. Its just fantastic!
You can see you got a lot of love on our FB Page for this too. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people were after you to make them one of these.
-
Thanks RCWcreations and Dag Marus!
-
Thanks Tamer!

Surprisingly Tamer, I have been asked quite a few times if I was selling! Almost feel bad responding NFS. If anyone who 3d prints or casts parts is paying attention....there is definitely a market for the claw.
-
That turned out really great. I like the how you designed the claw.
-
I don't think its that surprising it is one awesome custom creation.
-
I skipped the carbon freeze playset. I don't think it's the most exciting scene needing a dio, and I thought the Hasbro playset-dio was half-assed.
You're version though is making me rethink my excitement about the playset...
Outstanding work!
-
Thanks again Tamer and thanks Starchaser!

Outstanding work!
Thanks Don! It wasn't that difficult to make. The hardest part of the project was getting all the figures to stand long enough to take some pics....
-
That carbon freeze chamber set up is insane. Awesome work on that!
-
I have completely avoided that Bespin Freezing Chamber playset, but now that I see how nicely you enhanced it, I may just need to reconsider.
-
Thanks Eyositer! Thanks d daddy!
-
Cantina Saurin vintage duo....
-
They look good to me.
Another trip to the front pages.
-
Thanks for sharing Tamer!
-
Love these two. I need to do more vintage style...
-
Nice job on these. They look great.
-
It was a must for Hasbro to add that claw to the Carbon Freezing Camber playset, but they just skipped it for a $50 price tag. Beyond disappointing. Yours however looks absolutely stellar! Now, it looks complete. Nice setup, too!
I also like how you continue the original Kenner line with your Vintage customs. Your latest Cantina alien looks fantastic and straight from the late 70's. Your skills always impress! Thanks for your comment on my thread by the way!
-
I will have to say his claw has me rethinking not getting this. I think I am gonna order two.
-
I`m sure they'll be discounted soon enough, seems to be the ongoing trend....
-

I kinda think the same thing.
-
A few more vintage that I've been working on....
-
These are great. Time to take them to the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
With the Retro collection going on it’s nice to see some vintage customs. Love seeing these.
-
Thanks Eyositer!
-
Some more vintage cantina patrons....
-
These are so awesome.
-
I agree, so cool. Off to the front pages.
-
Nice collection of Kenner style figs. I'm late to the game, but your mad of the Bespin playset was great. With all these Cantina patrons, do you have plans to do a Cantina playset? I remember seeing some of your other figs in booths at one point.
-
Thanks Eyositer, Tamer and Moronorama! I will post some pics of a Cantina and Jabbas palace I came up with a while back.
-
Here's some Cantina....
-
Some Jabba's palace....
-
Palace....
-
Smugglers outpost....
-
Those dioramas look great! I really love how you have executed the true vintage style (what are they calling them now..."retro") figures - those turned out awesome!
-
These are great! Wow.
Time to go share these and try to think of some better comments about how awesome I think these are.
-
Wow, Lenny - what a party! What a tribute to the start of the second season of The Mandalorian! You got not one, but THREE different dioramas of Tatooine. The detail and amount of figures are beyond limits! Amazing pictures - thanks so much for sharing!
-
Love that palace, awesome! 8)
-
Those dioramas are so cool. Nice work!
-
Thank you guys for the nice comments! Here's one for tomorrow, Happy Halloween!
-
Nice, I want to use that image on the front pages. Happy Halloween everyone!
-
Had zero intentions of making him until the parts suddenly appeared from the fodder pile....
-
Awesome Cobb Vanth!
-
That is nice. Off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
Cobb turned out really well! You did a good job determining parts - I was thinking that Bom Vimdin's legs would work well for him. Great work.
-
Thanks Starchaser!
-
Haha, love how your fodder bin spit out those parts! You must have an impressive arsenal of parts and figures! Excellent kit-bash there! 3.75" forever! Much respect from me!
-

Great job on the Vanth!
-
Great job on the Vanth! Thanks L-Jarvis!
-
A few more I've been working on....
-
.
-
Damn! These all look great. I'd love to see the recipes for all of these. I can't even decide which group I like best.
-
Wow, I agree. Its hard to pick a favorite. I guess I like that Dr. Mandible the best, but all of them are great.
Off to the front pages.
-
Thanks RC-1136 and Tamer. Recipes as follows: Dr. Mandible is a vitruvian armory mantis head with body made from various plastic bug parts from amazon glued together with a Hem Dazon lower. Peli Moto is a rose body with a re action Ripley head and hair was molded from green stuff. Lord Thundaris gets his name in homage to Thundercats. His head is from vitruvian armory and his body is Rouge One Krenic. The Nal Hutta emissary is a Palpatine body with a head from marauders gun runners. His bodyguards are Lando skiff guards with General Lando capes and the helmets were ordered from star wars geek on eBay, I believe they originate from the resistance figure line. The Black Sun Contingency consists of all heads from vitruvian armory on Bela tik, General Hux and DJ Canto Bight bodies. The Guavian death squad heads are also from vitruvian armory.
-
I agree with RC-1136 and Tamer! These customs are super cool, Lenny! You're really quick with the Dr. Ant and the technician from the latest Mando episode! I also really like all the different headsculpts for your other customs! Got some great teams of custom creativity there! Massive thumbs up from Germany!
-
Thanks Darth More!
-
From the Mandalorian.
-
A few more vintage....
-
That Aqualish Scavenger is just spot on from what I watched last night. Great job.
Nice work on the vintage customs too. Off to the front pages.

Thanks Tamer, I appreciate your support!
-
Not sure if this is common knowledge, but it was a new to me. I've been experimenting with painting figures for a more vintage/retro look and I discovered that if you turn Ketwol's head around you get Melas.....Old pic thrown in for reference, purchased Melas head on ebay years ago.
-
I didn't know that. Cool deal.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer, who knew?
-
Finished up the last of my vintage cantina customs. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
-

In 1983 a crack Endor commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These beings promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Corellian underground. Today, still wanted by the rebellion they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The Nunb-Team.
-
Love the N-unb Team mate and excellent work on the vintage figures.
Ron
-
Nice work all around. I really like your Star Wars A-Team.
Off to the front pages.
-
Thanks hemble & Tamer!
-
Your welcome. That was a great Thanksgiving Custom Image too.
I would love to talk to you sometime about perhaps creating some holiday custom images like your Thanksgiving one so we could use those on holidays to say Happy whatever.
You could be the Stephen Hayford of Imperial Shipyards. I know that is a lot of work though. Customs and dio set up and then custom images period. I have lost hours and hours of time working on custom images here myself so feel free to tell me no!
-

I can give it a shot this week and see what I can come up with. I'll send test pics via fb messenger. I will start by doing a Google search Stephen Hayford.
-
Just finished up some Bounty Hunters. Heads are from Vitruvian armory....
-
Wow Lenny, that's a great set of updates. Those vintage style figures are great, and you've built a ton of them. I think the Nunb team is great, as is the Aqualish. I really like the bounty hunters though, great use of the Animal Warriors of the Kingdom and Boss Fight heads.
-
Very nice and off to the front pages.
And great work on those images. I really liked them.
-
Thanks Starchaser and Tamer!
-
Those hunters are pretty unique. I like the one of the far right the most.
-
Thanks RC-1136! That one is my favorite too.
-
Kitbashed Ahsoka Tano from the Mandalorian....
-
Looks good to me. Off to the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
Who wore it better?
-
Ahsoka looks great! I'd love to see the recipe for her if you are willing to share it.
-
Ahsoka looks great! I'd love to see the recipe for her if you are willing to share it.
Of course, no secrets from me always willing to share. Its a 3.75 black series Ahsoka upper body with green stuff covering her cleavage. Belt is from comic pack Ventress with bead chain made from green stuff. Skirt is cut from a Qui gon Jin and super glued to the under side of Ventress belt. Skirt needed to be thined out with an exacto knife before gluing. I can not tell you where the legs are from as they were pulled out of my fodder pile. They were a slimmer leg that I added blouseing to where it meets the boot molded with green stuff. Head is Ahsoka (obviously) from rebes two pack with vader. Unfortunately she comes from the factory cross eyed. Her poncho is from Rey "Island Journey". I added a little rectangle to it at the top out of some vinyl fodder. She was painted with Tamiya nato black.
-
Great customs!
-
Wow, great Mandalorian Boba Fett. It looks great. Off to the front pages.
I like it on Boba better. Loved the knee firing missles.
You sure didn't waste anytime cranking this one out!
-
Thanks Tamer, I agree on boba!
-
Nice job on the Mando customs!
-
Greta customs mate and that's a no brainer from me Boba hands down.
Ron
-
Thanks Moronarama and hemble!
-
Hi Lenny, a little slow on the reply, but both Fett and Ahsoka turned out really well! Thanks for sharing the recipe on Ahsoka. These are really great 3.75" customs, excellent work.
-
Very awesome figures. I'm going to be the odd man out and say Cobb is better, they're both fantastic of course, but cobb fits in the armor better.
-
Thanks Starchaser and JDeck!
-
Saga legends body with potf Mace Windu skirt, pouches and holster from Marauders Gun Runners. The paints are Tamiya....3.75.

Nice custom. Man that looks good next to the Slave I.
Off to the front pages.

Thanks Tamer, always appreciate your kind words and support!

I just call it like I see it. After watching last night's episode I gotta wonder what new creation you have in store! I always watch those episodes and think I bet someone makes this and someone makes that and then you do!

-
That's a pretty splendid batch of Mando customs. You've done a great job using existing parts to build new characters. Just goes to show what a talented and creative person can do. I really like a lot of these figures, but thought your use of the Moloch body for the Kubaz bounty hunter was particularly clever. Great work.
-
Wow, you have been busy. So awesome.
I saw these on Facebook last night and shared them.
Needless to say, off to the front pages.
-
I have to echo everyone else's posts. You did a great job on these! I've been going back through looking at the combination of parts and little details you painted. Excellent work.
-
Wow you made everyone! Love the astromech with legs!
-
Lenny,
What wonderful customs. I have to say that I never realized General Madine could be such a versatile base figure for customs. I love these. Hard to pick a favorite. They are great.
-
Thanks UKHistory, Mauldalorin, Flash, Tamer and Starchaser!
-
Ordered a 3d Bantha from etsy. A little minor sanding and a relatively easy paint job....looks pretty vintage to me. Raided my kids construction paper for the background.
-
Very effective background with the construction paper. What a great shot!
They have 3D banthas on Etsy?
-
Thanks Clonehead! Yes, I got it on Etsy. The sellers name is ReproBubbles.
-
Here is a link for folks who want to go check out the store. Wow, there are some nice things. This person has great feedback too:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ReproBubbles?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=918868163&page=3#items
-
And now my comments. I like it. It is perfect for vintage figures. Love the background you made too. Perfect. Reminds me of a wishbook style add you would see in the old holiday catalogs!
Off to share on the front pages.
-
That's pretty cool. The whole scene has a wonderful vintage "vibe" to it - thanks in no small part to your clever construction paper background. Thanks for the heads-up on a another potential resource.
-
This is great!
-
Thanks Tamer, Starchaser and Mauldalorian!
-
Around 6 or 7 years ago I grabbed a lot of 20 Indiana Jones Russian soldiers off of ebay. I think it cost me 25 bucks or so. They were readily available at the time on the cheap. Come to find out they were rejects. The didn't stand straight or bend properly. Regardless I used them to make 10 rebel troopers, 6 ground crew and 4 officers. Dug them out this weekend upon receiving the Tantive IV.
-
Those look great!
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Nice! You have a good crew for the Blockade Runner. Is that a Dooku head under the captain's helmet?
-
Wow, you did a great job making a company of custom Fleet Troopers! Yeah, I remember then I bought 20 of those Russian Soldiers from sinodolls on ebay for $1.89 each years ago. Meanwhile you can only buy them with a bunch of other Indiana Jones figures. The blue paint you used looks spot on! I also remember some other Rebel customs based on this figure. I think I keep some more than 4 of the 16 I still have.
Also the Bantha looks excellent! Really excited for it to arrive. Are you going to share some "in hand" pics then? The Kenner Bantha also appears in the latest video of Spector Creative (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10652.msg223402#msg223402).
-
Thanks Tamer, Starchaser and Darth More! Not sure if that's a Dooku head or a head from Marauders gun runners, so long ago I can't remember or tell by looking at it. Darth More, this was an in hand pic.... The Bantha is great, I'm confident you'll feel the same way upon receiving yours.
-
Your Blockade Runner crew looks great.
I like the blue shirts.
-
Your Blockade Runner crew looks great. Thanks!
I like the blue shirts.
-
Haven't done any customs since the end of Mandalorian season 2. I got a photo box from amazon today and took some pics of guys I made a while back. I made Luke from a vc death star escape, vc yavin head and a potf Luke with blast shield helmet. Black Krrsantan, Random Hutt and Mon Calamari dock worker also pictured.
-
Nice to see you back. Good update. I really like the Mon Cal worker, its a great use of that body. Black Krrsantan turned out excellent as well.
-
I like all four, but really that Mon Cal. Nice to see you back.
Off to the front pages to share this.
-
They are all great, and the mon cal dock worker is awesome. The black Kazakhstan looks great as well. Can never have enough hutt varieties. Luke looks great too.
-
I agree, such a cool series of custom figures! I especially like the Wookiee with the golden belt and the repainted Jabba. The dry-brushed paint looks extremely decent on this one!
-
Thanks Starchaser, Tamer, JDeck, and Darth More! Looking forward the new upcoming Disney+ shows and hopefully the inspiration to attempt more customs.
-
Some rainy day fodder pile Bounty Hunters....
-
NICE batch! They look like a hard crew to run up on. I especially like the 4-LOM based figure.
-
I agree, great group. I think that Trandoshan is my favorite.
Off to the front pages.
-
Nice! That's a great update. Good mix of parts, they are a tough looking crew.
-
These are cool. They remind me of some reimagined bounty hunters. All you need is dengar and zuckuss. I like the IG droid the most. Very cool guys.
-
Thanks Monorama, Tamer, Starchaser & JDeck!
-
Some rainy day fodder pile Bounty Hunters....
Love these guys! I expect them to rob a bank any minute now. ;)
-
Thanks Don!
-
Tim Mee toys Star Attack Battle station. Pretty versatile for 3.75....
-
To say it with Shawn's words: This is doggone awesome!
What a cool setup there! It's so cool that the Imperial Combat Assault Tank fits through the gate. You got an impressive collection of Stormtroopers there, Lenny! I think this new mold introduced a new age of collecting and army-building Imperial troops.
I also like the blue tape you applied to the Battle Station for your Cobras! Another cool Battalion of your massive collection. Thanks for sharing! Makes me want to start building another dio myself! But I got an exam to take before.
-
My mind is blown!
Wow!
Off to share on the front pages. Man this is great.
-
Thanks D More and Tamer, it was fun setting these up!
-
Wow!
-
Very nice share. I do like their stuff.
That Cobra setup was great!
-
Nice! Great pictures. I love the way you used decals to change up the organization. This is a great tip.
-
Thanks MandoMuggle, Clonehead & Starchaser!
-
Painted up a True Heros Apache longbow for a "Dragonfly" look. I brushed on tamiya deep green paint then added some decals from toy hax. The watch tower is made by click n' play and also has toy hax decals
-
.
-
Looks really good. True Heroes gives us some nice inexpensive diorama pieced and vehicles, with great play value. But...they do need a bit of help:) Excellent job.
-
Man, you really made that so much better. Wow.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Awesome paint job Lenny!
-
Thanks Starchaser, Tamer & MandoMuggle!
-
True Heroes PT boat with some added decals paint, seat and rear grab bar, GIJOE Rockslide turned cobra and some diorama nonsense....
-
.
-
.
-
Some behind the scenes....
-
Also got the HISS artic decal kit off of ebay, super easy to apply.
-
Wow, all kinds of great new Joe custom goodness up in here. So off to share some of it.
Man, I love the HISS Tank. I could so see the Rebels using that on Hoth to take on AT-STs.
Great stuff!
-
That is a really cool looking vehicle! With the decals it looks even cooler! I'm glad those decals are offered. Even for some LEGO parts because LEGO still sticks to stickers instead of prints ever so often...thanks for sharing this!
-
The HISS decal set looks really good on the vehicle. I like your desert village diorama - it looks really good.
-
Thanks Tamer, Darth More & Starchaser!
-
Some toyhax decals and a little elbow grease turned this True Heros Sentinel 1 watercraft into a Cobra Eel patrol boat.
-
That's pretty cool! The decals looks really good. That's a pretty inexpensive way to equip your Cobra troops.
-
Now that just looks great. Man, the Shipyarders are amazing me today.
Off to the front pages.
-
Man, you do such a nice job rehabing those Chap Mei vehicles.
-
It's amazing what can be done to chap Mei with patience, paint, and decals. I did a huge conversion of a helicopter with them. Maybe I'll lost some photos?
-
I already have a VC Slave 1 and not wanting to spend 2 bills just for a Tusken Boba was my inspiration. Used a cloak from a VC 175 Luke that I painted black from a previously made Grogu rescue luke custom. I cut a little chest square from a fodder pile vader cape and the sling came from a fodder pile Aurra Sing rifle. Used some black string (singed the ends with a lighter, so string wouldn't fray) and weapons from a VC 199 Tusken Raider. I thought about painting the rifle sling darker brown and the boots black and then I decided to keep it simple and not alter the figure or paint. My son made the background with construction paper and took the pics.
-
.
-
That's great Lenny! I think keeping it simple is a good idea. Sometimes "good enough" is good enough, especially for play value. I think Boba turned out really well.
Your son using construction paper and a box was very clever. It actually works really well. Tell him he did a great job!
-
That's brilliant! Boba Fett is going to be released on VC card later on, but that's probably not before 2024. And that way you don't even have to rely on TungHori. Your custom looks like the real deal from the TV show! This is what customizing is all about, right?
Excellent work there - right in time to play NOW!
-
Now this is just slick. Nice way to show how it can be done. I can't imagine getting yet another Slave I myself. This shows them how to make this figure. Great dio by your soon too.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks Starchaser, Darth More and Tamer!
-
What if?
-
Yeah...that works! :)
-
I am gonna have to get one of those Reva's. Man, her body has so much potential for all kinds of bad girl sith lords!
Off to share on the front pages.
-
So freaking cool!!
Super stylish.
-
Cool idea! If Vader found Leia before Luke found him and Leia then fought against Luke on the light side. Interesting turn of events. I mean the Kenobi show made it so close for Vader to find his daughter. Are those 6 inch btw? lvva
-
Thanks Starchaser, Tamer, Nickeltcd & Darth More! They are 3.75 figures.
-
Migs.
-
Very nice. Looks spot on from the show from what I can remember.
Can you give us the recipe for this? I think I recognize some of the parts, but a lot of folks will want to emulate this one.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks T man! Body is VC23 Luke Endor, vest is VC 130 Andor, holster is VC4 Bespin Luke, head is of course VC229 Migs with a trimmed down scarf from Marauders Gun Runners.
-
I like it! He looks great and really captures the final scene Migs. Now he's off to have his own adventures!
-
Thanks T man! Body is VC23 Luke Endor, vest is VC 130 Andor, holster is VC4 Bespin Luke, head is of course VC229 Migs with a trimmed down scarf from Marauders Gun Runners.
Thanks for the parts list! Folks will want to make themselves one of these!
-
Some Marauders accessories on a Grunt....
-
Well that works really well. Rock on, Sgt. Rock!
-
Some Marauders accessories on a Grunt....
I have a love/hate relationship with Marauders. I absolutely LOVE the modifications for guns they have. But at the same time I HATE how some of the stuff doesn't seem correct in scale.
-
Oh yeah! That works, off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer and Starchaser!
-
RC-1136- I've not had scaling issues with anything from Marauder. Maybe I've been lucky with the items and accessories that I've bought or maybe I just haven't noticed.
-
Finally got around to opening the Navarro Cantina playset. In my opinion it definitely requires additional seating, so I came up with easy booth solution with items I had on hand. The round cantina table/base and seats were purchased long ago from hole in the ground and the table top is from Marauders.
-
That works great! It's a good combination for filling out the Cantina. Is that Beckett or Woody :)
-
Yep, have the Cheers theme song going through my head now. Looks awesome.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Always happy to see a scene with Hondo. Nice setup you've got going there!
-
Thanks guys for the nice comments! 1
-
Had no intention of making an Andor, then the Disney + screenshot gave me a few ideas
-
Looks spot on. Nice job.
-
I agree! I was surprised by the music of that scene, but the costume looks interesting. I did a great job recreating it! Maybe he wears it long enough so that Hasbro will make this one, too. Are you going to add more paint apps and weathering to the boots, coat and pouch as well?
I also like how you equipped your Nevarro Cantina! Feels like the good times of collecting and customizing are back. Still hope for another vehicle in both scales. Thanks for sharing this super recent update!
-
Looks spot on. Nice job.
First thing I thought when I saw it. Nice.
off to share on the front pages
-
Thanks Starchaser, Darth More and Tamer! I agree with you D More, I was also taken by surprise by the rock and roll sound of that scene.
-
Experiment: I had been wondering about the army building capability of the VC Bespin Guards. The cap can be pried off, but it is very small and pretty much unusable. I painted up some old potf 2 Bespin caps to match uniform and used some fodder heads I had on hand. The cap is pictured for size comparison on a VC 120 Rebel Hoth soldier. Paints pictured were blended to match uniform color.
-
The paint color seems an excellent match. This is a great way to get a full compliment of Wing Guards that look consistent. Really nice job!
-
Oh yeah, nice experiment. Resounding success.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
Ah, yes. The "blues" as I call them. Great work color matching on that blue color. I hate how much of a pain that can be sometimes...
-
Here's a few things I've been working on this winter....
-
.
-
.
-
.
-
.
-
.
-
And last but not least.....Luke's body is 2019 VC cave of evil, head is VC Luke Bespin. Back pack and Yoda are from 2004 OTC. Yoda has a VC head and Luke's ams are from Boss Fight flash gordon.
-
Tank is from Click N' Play, Humvee is from Sunny days and Helicopter is from True Heros. All customized with Decals from Toy Hax.
-
That's a pretty significant body of work. The vehicles for the Joes are great. I'm not familiar enough with the modern Joe figure line to know which figures are customized and which are not. I think your "cave" Luke looks really good!
-
Wow, I figured you were still kicking, but this amount of custom goodness is amazing.
Those vehicles are stellar as are the figure customs.
Off to share this!
-
Love me some 1/18 military customs! I do more realistic military stuff, but Joes are where I started. Great work! ()rr
-
Lenny Quinn… My moms gonna call your mom. I wanna come and play at your house. I'm Duke Trump. I called it.
-
It’s a treasure trove!
Good loord, Mr Quinn
That is a mass of work, you were busy this winter
-
Thanks Starchaser, Tamer, Miked, RC-1136 and Clonehead!
-
A couple of Klatoonian raiders.
-
Nice! Love those raiders!
-
Outer rim thugs at their best. ()rr
-
We so need so many characters like this. I can't imagine how they could keep em in stock.
Nice, off to share on the front pages.
-
Those are great modifications to give build out your collection of raiders. I think they turned out well.
-
Carved and drilled out a POTF Tarkin head to try out on the Piett body and also popped on a few others I had laying around to see how they might look on the upcoming troop builder Imperial Officers 4 pack
-
.
-
.
-
Awesome officers! I have a couple cooking. I hope the pipelined Krennic has a cape, lah'mu cape would be too much to ask. At any rate long live the Empire.
-
These turned out great!
Off to share.
-
Nice! Good to see the Tarkin head works. You now have a great beauracy.
-
Thanks guys!
-
Broke out some old customs in an attempt to emulate this Jedi cast photo.
-
Woah, this is AWESOME! I hope the brand team sees your setup, too, if you shared it elsewhere like instagram! You nailed it compared to the reference photo!
-
Man, that is fantastic. It took me awhile to figure out which was your customs and what was the old photo.
So off to share this.
-
That looks pretty great.
-
Thanks guys!
-
I had this Kyle Katarn head in waiting so I could Nizuc my Velken!
-
That works!
-
It sure does! Off to share.
-
Inspired by the Jabba's Palace playset I decided to remake some customs.
-
.
-
.
-
.
-
That's an impressive set of figures. They look excellent, I particularly like how Gauron Nal Tal turned out. I'm curious about "recipes" on figures that use non-Star Wars parts (a couple of those helmets, for example).
-
The trandoshan is probably my favorite in this lot but they all look really well put together. Great job!
-
Thanks guys! The helmet on the mercenary pilot is from marauders gun runners spruced up with some green stuff. All other helmets/hats are Lando skiff guards with green stuff added or just sculpted out of green stuff.
-
.
-
Holy crap that is a ton of awesome customs. That is definitely inspired. I still need to get my playset out of the box. Nice.
Off to share.
-
Great pic! 👍 Its nice to see the skiff accurately full. ;D
-
Thanks guys!
-
Imperial briefing room from the Imperial officers 4-pack. Left to right: General Tagge, Officer Cass, Chief Bast, Grand Moff Tarkin, Admiral Motti, Wullf Yularen. Director Krennic is an easy swap until his eventual release.
-
Oh yeah. Thats nice too. Off to share.
-
First time dying a figure with rit synthetic.
-
Cool! Tell me about the process and your evaluation of it now that you are done. I've been thinking about the value of a dye (versus paint) especially were joints are involved.
-
with paint rub on joints this might be the way! Not much pun there right!
Off to share.
-
Starchaser, the process couldn't of been easier. I boiled and popped her into bits and pieces then followed the instructions on the package. Left her in for about 3 minutes, I used a Colander in a pot so it was easy to fish out the multiple parts. rinsed well off under the sink and pasted dry with paper towels. Bending the joint pieces all the way one way half way through then all the way the other gets complete coverage. Red paint has always giving me a hard time, needing multiple coats. The painted parts of the figure remain unaffected, the boot cuffs, belt highlights and badge and letters on her chest stayed the same. I was shocked how red she came out using her yellow body.

Thanks! So the dye didn't adhere to painted parts of the figure, only the unpainted plastic?
-
Yeah, it didn't dye the painted parts.the only parts that didn't take a dip were her hands and feet.
-
A couple from Ahsoka.
-
Nice! I like your Thrawn better than the actual live action guy. Zombie Witch Troopers are awesome.
-
Nice job on the sword! The zombie trooper is excellent as well. I like the red racing stripes (I really don't get those on the troopers, but it's not my design).
-
Thanks guys!
-
Yep, you have a much better Thrawn. Like the zombie trooper too. Nice update.
Off to share.
-
Great Ahsoka customs! How'd you nail the sword? 3D print or another sculpt?
-
I had two identical chap mei (I think) Samurai swords. I removed the tsuba (hand guard) on one and modified it to fit next to the one on the other. Scotch invisible tape and green marker. for the flameish effect.
-

That's pretty dang creative. I would have never thought it was any of that. How do you like Morgan Elsbeth figure?
-
Although I was indifferent when she was announced, she is a pleasant surprise and welcomed addition. Very nice figure, excellent interpretation of the character, minus accessories.
-
I, too, actually really like the Morgan figure and see great application as another female body for customs.
-
I've seen a few of these Kid Connection Space Exploration Play Sets from Walmart customized, here's my take.
-
That's outstanding. It's works really well for the MARS rocket. What Cobra sets did you use for the symbol, etc.
-
Any idea how you are going to use that rocket...I could see using it in a "Star Wars" diorama some how.
-
Thanks Starchaser! The missile is from the GI Joe Rolling Thunder, the MARS decal is from ebay as is the Cobra hanging banners and the Commanders throne is a 3d print from Etsy.
-
Sweet! Thanks.
-
Man, what a cool way to get yourself a Cobra Base. I like this a lot.
Off to share.
-
Thanks Tamer!
-
Found some cheap retro Grunt and stalkers and turned them into Green Shirts . . .
-
Nice! You have a regular squad there. Nice to have some troops behing the Joes.
-
Oh yeah, nice squad.
Off to share.
