Can anyone tell what this rusty old broken down vehicle Padmé picked up used to be?
-
Hmm, G.I. Joe Mobile Command Center? I thought a vintage DV's Star Destroyer at first, but figured that couldn't be it....
-
Correct! It was a GI Joe Pit Mobile Headquarters. Now it is being converted into part of the Army of the Republic. The image above shows the space they have once the folding tower that was originally housed inside has been torn out.
-
Sweet pic up. Turn it into a SW Command Center. Nice.
-
I can't wait to see it. I always pictured that Joe vehicle as a type of sandcrawler.
-
I think I've seen one customized into a Sandcrawler of some sorts not too long ago!
-
HB94 did something like this awhile back
-
Great eye Incom! This is the one from the POC line just 2 years ago, the one Jules did was the older one from the 25th line I think. At any rate this is very cool Nate, Can't wait to see how this one turns out!

POC came out in 2010, and the PIT is from the ROC line in 2009, no PIT has been released in the POC line.
-
Cool pic...
I always wanted a PITT, but never found 1 at a price I liked...
-
From what I've seen it looks just like the bridge of a Star Destroyer.
-
Nate, something for the Apocalypse story methinks!
-
Actually I have no plans to make this into anything that has to do with SWA. This project got started because Jenn found this GI Joe Pit vehicle disassembled in a box on it's way to the trash. So she brought it home and told me to make something out of it. I have started doing the repaint job, it will be a mobile command station to support my clone army. I still need to locate some materials for the viewport, maybe I can put up a few pics soon.
-
Daggone how have I missed this thread and pic. Gonna get that rememdied soon.
Sounds like an awesome idea. I would love to see more wip pics.
-
Got a little done on this project.

Preliminary paint job and some interior lighting.

Clones on a break.

Wow, that shot of padme, yoda, and yularen looks awesome, i can't even really recognize it as a PITT. Color me jealous!
I have toyed with the idea of using my MCC as a base for a SWA custom....
-
I have to agree! That first shot is really sweet! The second is as well but love that first shot. Great job so far Nate, can't wait to see the final presentation!
-
When do we get to see the vehicle in all of it's entirety, I am intrigues as to it's full size.
The picture of Yoda and Co is awesome by the way!
-
I would agree that shot of Yoda, Padme and Yularen is great.
-
It took a little while, but here is, as seen in episode 22 of the Kessel Run Review, the All Terrain-Mobile Command (AT-MC) in a "functional" state of completion.

Jawdroppingly Awesome!
That is a fantastic creation Nate, and a great custom to end 2011!
-
seriously minty!
-
Nate, that is fantastic! I love the view window with lighting, it really adds so much to that vehicle. It looks so cleanly done as well, nice even lines and whatnot. Great job!
-
Looks awesome! I love the nod to Jenn's podcasts on the screen in the background!
-
Thanks guys, I still feel like I need to do more work on the paint job but as is it does make a nice addition to the collection. Also, it's really hard to see in these pictures but the small screen opposite the one with Jenn on it shows the front page of the ISY.
-
seriously minty!
Minty?
This is the dog's bollocks, mate!
Fits right into the SW universe.
-
Nate, having the ISY front page on the monitor screen is a very neat little touch...
-
That is one hell of a conversion great work especially on tehlighting that really adds to the whole vehicle.
Ron
-
Really awesome command center Nate! It matches up with the other CW vehicles perfectly! Well done!
-
you redeemed that toy, well done.
Also...episode 22, awesome. The two customizers you featured...dang...they elevate the craft to pure art, very jealous of their abilities.
-
Terrific piece man! Love the indoor lights :o
-
That picture lighted up behind the glass is over the top. Nice vehicle Nate.
-
I want one. Great job Nate!! Super cool work!! Full of really cool details.
-
Awesome!
