Title: Free Comic Book Day!

Just wanted to let you guys know/remind you all that Saturday May 7th is Free Comic Book Day! A day where hundreds and hundreds of comic shops and collectible stores give out free comic books, creators make guest appearances and do signings, tons of free swag is given out, and fans come out in force! There are also costumers who make appearances too! Please think about stopping by your local comic shop(s) this coming saturday and taking part in this awesome nerd-rific event!

Also TK-9849 of AFE will be making an appearance at his local comic shop in full--YES FULL--Stormtrooper armor! He's been invited to make an appearance from 12pm to 2pm at Main Street Comics in Middletown NY (only about an hour from Manhattan). If you're in the area or near enough please consider making the trek up to visit!

Had a blast at my local comic shop! Made a lot of kids' days and was super glad to troop for them! Scored a bunch of free loot too! And the awesome owners of Main Street Comics gave us a 20% discount on all purchases! Check it out!

super cool,  we to went to a comic book store. they had a table out front with comic book artist and my kids had them draw these. scored lots of comics and some cool pics.

Glad you had a great time at your comic book day! Those sketches look awesome! We didn't have any artists at ours :( But we had a stormtrooper ;)
